@KeiraLuvsTheDoors they likely don't look much different in person, but a camera flash tends to flatten everything out, so models need a lot of make-up to look... not dead on camera. I've not done photo shoots but I know that, for example, people acting on stage require a lot of make-up (which basically looks the same as they did before, except smoother) to still have any definition when they're on stage, otherwise their eyes and lips in particular tend to "disappear"
