I already made my first logo but can't figure out how to save it to where I can use it on a video or just as a pic, So can you tell me how to save it to use it for everywhere cuz the only thing I can get it to do now is reopen the logo maker
Sometimes I can get to my objects and place them in the logo, and after I work for a few minutes it says that it "cannot find this Picture!" if if try to put in another image. Any ideas?
This is nothing against you, but these kind of applications really lower the respect clients give to designers when asking them to make them a logo. They think we just do them in this kind of software and it takes us a few moments so they're usually unwilling to spend good money for them. They don't realise a good logo takes a while to make, to make sure it says what it's supposed to, and is saved in the correct formats for scaling and so on.
@TalesOfWar you need to educate your clients a bit then... which helps justify your price... Also if these tools were brain dead easy everyone would do it, which they're not and can't.
I don't think it's a problem though. Wealthier clients know that there are always unexpected tech details involved in DIY stuff and that they don't have time for that. Wealthier clients go for experts.
@superAweber I was speaking in general. These kind of videos and software applications lead to people thinking that designing things requires no real skill or effort and it's just a case of the designer pushing up the price for the sake of it. It's about spreading ignorance and misinformation more than anything. I generally use the argument that if you're willing to invest so much in capital and so on then why should you cheap out on marketing, seeing as marketing is a huge chunk of business!
@TheFridayNightGamer No, But you can open it in either Photoshop or gimp and get rid of the background, then save as a .png file for it to keep the transparent quality
@TheFridayNightGamer Re: making the background transparent. I've just scanned the program's help files. On a Mac you do it by setting the Canvas color to transparent. On Windows you can set the Canvas transparency to zero.

@TheFridayNightGamer, Yes, there is. It's very easy. Click the Format tab, and click the Canvas Background button. Look for the Radio Button labeled Transparent. Hit that 1, and click Ok.
i have a question...i have this program and ive been doing it for side cash (well trying) ive designed some pretty sick logos for people n the reason they wont pick mine over others is cause when i save as and save to my folder and then go fiew it...its a tiny tiny thumb nail. how do i save it bigger so its not so tiny that my clients cant see it?
@AlexRyken Although i dont have the program any more, You can try a couple things, right click and select open with and select the default picture viewer, also when you click new, if there is a dialog box that comes up, increase the pixel by pixel ratio.
@AlexRyken what you need to do is click on that round white circle button that says logo on it now it will open the menu with Save, New , and Open etc click export n click for online use now save it to a JPEG file and there you go it won't be a small stamp anymore it will be the logo that you want it to be I hope that helped you out man

Can you do animation with the logo?
ktm016 2 years ago
Sadly no, you would have to have made the logo and exported it to another program to do that.
