With the push of that machine and the material and the cold do you get alot of accumulation in that bucket. The bucket on the hoe I run loses about a yard during winter
@godackgudalach1 Yes you do, but usually knockin the bucket out every once in awhile keeps it down. Also finding a large hoe bucket to push against the ground helps loosen it up.
Hows it compared to a 973??? And when it comes to back filling around pipe i think a highlift works better since you can actually see whats infront of you.
@Vapor300 It's a far...far...far cry from the 973C. Not just the size difference between the 3 to 4yd machines but the overall refinement of the product, how seamless the different components of the machine work and the product in general.
@vantagetes dont really know much about the deere' i thought the 755 was supposed to be the same as a 73, but looking at them now i see the 755 is more compared to a 63. So compared to a 63 what do you think, pushing power, loading power, quickness, stability, comfort, etc, etc?
@Vapor300 I know it will outpush a 63 in a straight line and it defineately has more power to the tracks. As for being quick, hydraulic power, balance and as I said before the refined product it lacks seriously.
@1toomanyhobbies Yes a dozer would do the same job in this instance. The only place a dozer would lose some ability is in part 2 of this video by not having the ability to pull material back in the trench. But that could be remedied by simply turning around and working the dirt the other way.
@69rd96 i heard that back in the day that they used to take sheep and put them in a round fence and let the sheeps feet pack the dirt. hence the term sheeps foot. idk if thats right or stupid sounding.
@Dodgeoffroadfreak A wheel loader in this bucket size class would definately not compete with this machine in pushing ability. Take into effect different ground conditions for example. This is in sand where a 3yd wheel loader (544K) would start hopping once you get a load and spin out.

Like the camera on top of the cab make for a good view and the sound is amazing you can tell it is not a go pro.

The guy in the compacter thinking to himself sure hope the guy on the trackloader doesn't forget about me and bury me in the trench.
Been packer man before what a mind numbing job in an open ROPs Ingersoll Rand SD100 smooth drum.

Wouldn't a dozer have done just as well was this just the machine on hand?

Another 6" on each side of the bucket would be nice.
I'll give a golden star to anyone who knows the story behind sheepsfoot packers.

@OneBaddAssZ71 You are correct, sheep, bulls and even horses were used.

@69rd96 some old guy told me that where i used to work. and i guess it was the truth.

snooptravytrav 2 months ago
@snooptravytrav 3yd as it competes directly with the 963D from Caterpillar.

@vantagetes deere wheel loaders can push just as well as this track loader

@redheadedduckhunter Actually he hasn't... when DDnB needs a track loader skinner they put a professional in the seat.
