  • omg you look like beyonce on those 1st couple of pics.

  • This is so cute!

Im 15 and Im gonna wear this to school (:

  • @20britty tease the hair underneath or roller set it/french braid it the night before and brush it out to give it some volume. Your bangs would be cute pinned back, making a cute hump in the front. :)

  • Is there a way to wear this style turban without curly hair? I have straight hair :-(

But I LOVE this look. Can I still wear it? How would I poof the scarf up? Or pull my bangs out? If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate a response. :-D

  • Great video Mae! I subbed and will also be trying this. Thanks! :)

  • what can you use to keep the scarf from sliding up or back?

  • This is sooooo cute :)

  • I adore this look! You are gorgeous and very helpful.

  • Hi Nikkimae, your turban style is so cute on you however, every time I try it, I end up looking. like Aunt Jaimama or Tupac Shakur! What am I doing wrong?

  • Helloooo new winter style ^^

  • I love this look!!

I did this look for my new video!

    Amazing Inspiration!!!

  • Looks vintage almost.

  • I love Afro-American people.

  • @penatibusx ¬¬ what about Afro-English people?!

  • Amazing protective style!

  • very cute, and yes i love this look on you.

  • I loved the way that you showed us how to put on and tie the turban on your hair. It looked simple and even alittle fun to do. I think that I will try it myself as a different look for my natural hair. Thanks:-)

  • <3 it!!! even though i am not of african descent and therefor do not have black hair i will definately rock this. thanks for the tip

  • Your turban looks fabulous!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!

Now I'm going to try this on my straight, white girl hair.lol. Wish me luck!! :D

    Xoxo, AM

  • wowwww your hair grew, lol i don't know you personally but i remember watching a video of you a few months ago when you did the big chop.

  • Absolutely lovely :D

  • that is so cute =D

  • Am I the only one here without an afro?

Im Latina and my hair is straight, should I still do this? Would this still be acceptable? Or would it just look weird on me?

It looks really cool and effortless to do. And its summer so its a great way to rock a turban and a cute flwy outfit/dress.

  • @beneathyourlove Lots of women with straight hair are rocking this style right now. Look up Nicole Richie or Kourtney Kardashion to get started. Also don't forget Rosie the Rivioter who also wore a turban like style.

  • @prettyshamarlee

    Thank you so much!

I'll definitely be wearing this look more often!
