I really love this song--especially the line "The first step I take, I'll be headed the right way." I'm not the most religious person in the world, but though this song has an obvious Christian message, I don't think that it has to be taken in that context. It is simply a song about starting over and going in a new direction. I have been a huge Degrassi fan for the last six years, but no song from the show has ever touched me like this.
