I like to make a layered shortcake. I also leave the tops on the top, so that the green brings out the color, and maybe add a mint leaf. It makes it that much more presentable.

THAT WAYS HARDER THAN HOW I DO IT. YOU WILL NEED.

a box of yellow or white cake mix.

a cup of strawberries.

half a can of whip cream.

Bake cake. let cool.

Add whipp cream and strawberries and serve.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm its soooooooo delious!

Like I tell my students, you can make anything healther by changing out one thing for another. This is not a heath video. It's quick and easy for people who just want to eat a short cake. If you want healthy just eat the strawberries fresh from the bush and don't eat a lot because they have sugar in them also.

@MissQueenAshley yes and anyone can cook from my videos, My 3rd and 4th graders have cooked each of my dishes for their families with the help from their moms,dads,brothers,sisters or grandmothers. They had fun doing because it was quick and easy. It may not be the healthiest, but what can I say I'm from the south, we butter it, fry it or smoother it in cheese. That's call comfort food.

Thanks for your comment, I use Plant City Strawberries,they don't lose their flavor. I put the sugar on the strawberries, to make the juice, I don't use that fake gel. Have a wonderful week. :)

its better to not add suger to the strawberries because then the juice will "escape" and not be so flavorful
