It took centuries to get most western countries to outlaw torture, the death penalty, etc & accept human rights, freedom of speech, etc, & there’s still lots of western nations (i.e. the US) that need to catch up, (then there’s the rest of the world!) If one dog has to die in order to save a million human lives, then it's a sacrifice worth making. It should be killed honorably and with integrity. It shouldn't be tortured unnecessarily to feed people's sadistic tendencies.

I love how like 70% of these pictures of "cruelty" are of animals sitting in a cage, with no other ailement... and some of the other "cruelties" look like animals that had surgery to correct something and are in the healing process.
I suppose you would look at my parrots playing in their cages, attacking their toys for fun, and call that cruelty too?
