  • ahhh i do wish they would save the park but its funny as hell at 0:15....... enter the vagina of hell.... lol

  • Well done. The music really adds to the depressing mood of it all; especially for those of us who remember being there. What makes it so creepy is the how scary it looks now, but at the time, it was full of fun, laughter and non-stop good times for so many people.

  • Thanks all :)

  • Nice vid albeit sad to watch.

  • i live like right down the street, and my dad's band used to play here years ago

  • I was just there today

  • Don't fool yourself...it's our own fault that places like this have died............. The modern world sucks.

  • I spent 2 summers in the mid 70's working at Lincoln Park. These pictures are so sad. It was a great place in its day. I only recognize a few buildings and of course, the roller coaster.

  • Super fantastic job with these photos even though they are really putting a damper on my childhood/teenage memories at the park. I actually rode the coaster one day before it had an accident when he back car slipped off the tracks. I also rode it continuously for about 45 minutes the last year that the Comet was operating. I remember there was one guy operating it that day and no line at all. I rode it about 55 times until my girlfriend at the time said "thats enough". Thanks 4 the post!

  • Too bad it wasn't open 100 years. It closed 3 years too early.

  • It's amazing to look at these photos and think of all the good times, laughter, screaming, that one remembers going out to Lincoln Park after dinner or on a weekend nite. Opening day was always anticipated, especially during the late winter in dreary March, can't wait for May! Now it is but a mere ghost of what it was and what it represented. A place to go for fun and amusement. It should return.

  • any 1 have videos or pics of the roller ring

  • I'm now selling Images from the Slideshow due to popular demand. Thanks for being so patient. Dolly G

  • nice photography....actually...great! I liked the B+W touch. I'm a former photographer frm the 90's. Last time I rode the coaster was around 1979. The music ppl comment about first reminded me of the soundtrack piece to Titanic. come to think of it - this is similar to Titanic - only we don't get to see Jack and Rose get together again.

  • when im older, i lan to build a new park here because all of that stuff got knocked but not the coaster.

  • we used to climb to the top of the rollercoaster and get stoned its really wierd to look at it now

  • Remembering Lincoln park!!....when i was just a boy. I had asked my father if I could go on the old wooden rollercoaster. he said " son I will go on it first to see if it's safe for you and your brother to go" .so as I watched my fath...er climb in to the cart and take off i was thinking..WOW I can't wait..When the ride was finaly over My father walked out of that rollercoaster and said "son we are going home".And that was the first and last time I ever stepped foot in this park!

  • omg i so remember when i was a kid and it was a $1 on tues. I moved to california for 33 years and now I'm back and so miss everything. thanks for the memories

  • How I miss this place. I grew up in Swansea, Mass. The summer wasn't complete without a day at Lincoln Park!!

  • never been there. ever. Not old enough to have been there at the time it was opened. ive been there since though, and its amazing. awesome video, but i seem to be the only one who didn't like the music. ALSO: why did EVERYONE go with their grandpa. it's a little random.

  • Thank you Roxas for your nice words. Lincoln Park was a place to frequent with family and friends. It was a wonderful place that will be missed greatly. Bringing "Grandpa" along in the station wagon (beach wagon) was the thing to do. :)

  • oh cool thanks. Kinda funny too lol. I can just picture everyone in their old fashioned cars with their grandpas. lol i wish i could have gotten to go there when it was still opened, AND when it was closed, now all i can do is compare it now to the videos, which as good as they are, can never be as good as LIVING it. :( anyway, great video.

  • I know makes me wish for a time machine. best thing I can do is find an investor and write them

  • Thank you everyone for your comments. I've been asked numerous times about the music. Unfortunately, I don't know who it is. I have a cd of music for making movies with no names on it...it's a copy. I even have a music teacher doing some research on it. So, if anyone finds out any info, please let me know! thanks, Dolly

  • Wow, this is a bit sad. Luve the music you are using. What is it? I use to Love LP when growing up. It was much of my child hood. So sad to see it in ruins. R.I.P. Lincoln Park.

  • EXCELLENT PHOTOS!! Nostalgic yet eerie compositions. Nearly 60 years of fun and history on that coaster. I reminisce every time I drive by.

  • this was a beautiful park when i first went there in 1985 with my grand father and i havent been there since then i told my grandmother about the park nd she remebers it very well she past away last year atleast i got the chance to tell her about lincoln park she was very sad my grandfather and my grandmother went there on a couple of dates way back in the day thank you for these wonderful videos

  • its a shame about lincoln park my grand father and i road the roller coaster back in 1985 i wouldnt know how to get there from seabrook nh now its been many many years i would love to drive down there for the last time and take pics for my self and see of what it has become

  • Like I said on Cormak's video I remember this place and so wish I had the money to fix it and put it back to the way I remember it. I also wish I could get back to Mass just to look one last time. Awesome photos!!

  • the last picture was incredible. Great stuff

  • It's crazy how much things have changed just since I shot pictures in the Fall of 2008 for my videos. I definitely need to head back again before all the leaves start growing.

This was a very moving video. Gorgeous pictures.

  • what would it take to keep this place a landmark???
