we all miss you marco! i still can't believe you have gone, moto gp will never be the same again! i loved your style on a bike and attitude towards life, no one will ever replace you! long live your memory, R.I.P Marco good night god bless
I was a vocal critic of Marco's riding, but never in a million years would I wish this on him or any other rider. I may not have been a fan when he was alive, but I've come to appreciate just what he meant to millions of fans and just what a brilliant person he was. Its fun to have racers we root for and against, but when something like this happens to one of our family, our racing brethren, it leaves me sick inside.
Previous to the Sepang race he said to his dad, Paolo Simoncelli, that he was tired and wanted to go back home. Marco, you are at home with the other angels now R.I.P. <3
Some die too young. Ii remember reading in an interview to him something like : "I'm not afraid to die, We live more in 5 minutes on these motorcycles than most people do all of their life". Some people have charisma: I didn't even knew him and I know I'm gonna miss him on the next MotoGP race.
This video tribute is humble and emotive: as Sic was to all his fans. Thanks Steve for remembering him. I made one too, won't upload. your video shall be my tribute too. :)
An awesome tribute to a great rider, for me Marco brought MotoGP alive he was as flamboyant and charismatic on the track as he was off it. He would of been a multiple world champion I could feel it in my bones and to have his life cut short is such an injustice.
I totaly agree with your description. He was incredible and would of probably been a high contestant for the title either next year or the year after. RIP Marco...
I never got to see him ride in real life, but as was the case with so many people, he was my hero on the track. A breath of fresh air, not conforming to the usual etiquette of MotoGP, but injecting that much needed 250cc fire into the top flight.
He was merely 11 days older than me, and was a true inspiration to riders & fans all over the world both on and off the track.
A fitting tribute video mate. Made me well up again :-(
thank you friend for making this video, he ment so much to me and inspired me to do what i do now and will keep inspiring me. your right he made moto gp. Il wear his helmet with pride and i hope he is somewhere nice now.
Though we've had plenty to argue about when it came to Marco, I respected him as a rider. My heart is heavy just the same. You did a wonderful job with this tribute video, and I'm so grateful you were able to see him at Laguna this year! Beautiful.
I am so sorry about this Steve. :( But it is Very nice of you to make this memorial of him. Only 24 yrs old and his life is cut short. He obviously loved what he was doing.
To you Marco...rest easy bro....
