This is really lovely. I had a cassette of this when I was 17 but lost it and have never been able to find it anywhere. I fell head over heels in love with Satie's music after hearing this. Thank you so much for posting. Thank you Erik Satie.
Thank you for posting this. If you ever get a chance add Pieces Froides from this album I would appreciate it. I owned this some decades ago and miss this version.
I am so grateful that someone downloaded this album ;) Its the most beautiful and important music i have ever herd. Is it available on CD yet. Thank You ever so much "Toby"
THANK YOU sooooo much for posting this great music. I used to have the album, used the electronic sounding goofy stuff in my 6th grade genmus classes. LOVE it all.
these are so lovely. thank you. I had a cassette copy of this record that got mangled. There doesn't seem to be a CD version. I also love the rest of the record - all the moogy stuff . If you ever have the free time to upload the rest of it I'd greatly appreciate hearing again.
My understanding is that he wrote this as a sarcastic response to the soupy music of others in his time. None the less... it truly is one of the more beautiful pieces I've ever come across.
They may never put this out in CD form, but if enough people requested that it be added to the Itunes library, they might take notice...
