Personally, I like this one better than the first one. The music, at the start, harkens back to the opening credits of DS9, which in this case is a good thing. It conjures images of the vastness, and loneliness, of outer space. Also, I like the variety of ships from all eras visiting the station. You never know what could end up visiting a star port.
Sometimes I wish I had continued with my own fan project, "Star base Rhiannon," why back when.

Nice animation, but fans will tell you that this starbase is totally without any sense.
1. Why there is that blue light inside?
2. Starships are docked wrong (all have entry ports at sides of a saucer side not in front of it)
3. What for are that round things? Should ships 'land' on those? Land in space?
4. Shield build-up would be tragic for that kind of shaped structure...
