Heh, I can see myself a few years back in this song. I was basically a weak little runt taking in everything said by others. It took a good deal of maturing to realize that my weirdness was not something to hide, but a worthwhile asset. Got an issue with me? Sorry babe, I ain't your story then.

@0lionheart I'm pretty sure it's just about superheroes. "Put on your new face and run, run, run, and take on those who rape and kill and steal" is pretty much a dead giveaway. That is, assuming you're not looking for deep messages.

Still, Machinae Supremacy rarely has deep messages. It's the same people who sing about Half-Life 2, you know.

@timewasteland Ok, sure, HL2 is deep, but "Oh my, the fire rate, we'll need those supply crates, stock up on weapons and ammo before you go" can not be in any way considered deep lyrics. Just saying, sometimes songs are made just to sound nice, and not to pass existential truths ;)

It very well may just be open to interpretation. You do not always see a music artist explain the songs. In some cases they let you read is as you wish. Kinda abstract in a sense. Regardless of whether or not this is the case or if anyone is correct it is a pretty good message he mentions. There is actually a few machinae supremacy songs that seem to have this same message hidden within it.
