@junior25bulls To change bulb: Unplug tv, remove 4 screws and lamp cover. Remove screw securing lamp with a screwdriver. Separate the lamp from the engine by holding the handle and pulling it out. To reinstall lamp, reverse steps. Wear Gloves! do not touch lamps!
i had the screeching color wheel too. when i went to replace it, i saw that there were shards of broken glass from the color wheel so i spent a lot of time vacuuming the debris to prevent future problems. good luck!
that sucks man i got the same one had no problems with it for 4 years now.but now when i turn it on after like 30 seconds it gets dim would u kno the problem
sorry for the late response. it was the "Digital Board." replacing it did the trick. the key symptom which showed it wasn't the color wheel was the television source dialogue box which was the correct color the entire time. a bad color wheel wouldn't selectively have one portion of the screen the correct color. good luck!
@albaroingrid08 The white dots issue samsung has been repairing for free for some time. I hope you contacted them about that.

Were you able to figure out the problem? My tv is doing the same thing.
At first I assumed the color wheel, but I'm having second thoughts about that now.
