Actually, its not fake. Google it. They used that actress because she was a no name, this was her first hit film. The director let the birds actually attack her, and she put up with it because she knew the film would make her famous. I.E. some of those cuts are real.

In my opinion, this is the best fan-made The Birds trailer on YouTube! I love everything about it. The continuity was excellent, the clips you used were perfect, and the music. Ahh! The music, I absolutely love the piano music at the beginning and the end. The tune has that simplicity that seems to sweep over you with a wave of erieness. Well done!

For the people who said this movie was lame; it was made in the early 60's! Nobody had seen anything like this before. I guarantee if you were raised in the 60's this movie would probably scare the shit out of you! To this day the movie manages to hold up and still be creepy!
