Suppose the unfair party threatens you & responding to that threat would mean compromising your own interest, your country & my country and any other country in this world will sit silently..... So it's a power game, if you have the power you can influence any thing & A World using power to influence situations can not be regarded as Civil. Although I don't mind them, if Pak or any other country had powers they would've been doing the same

If you lable revolutionary and patriot as an idealogue just because of religious beliefs and discourses than it's misinterpretation. People in India revere Iqbal probably more than in other countries but just as an revolutionary poet who inspired people in united freedom movement but than got influenced by religious ideas as a tool to confront western dominance. You can conclude what happened thereafter

Buddy religious beliefs aside, If I wana become a good Muslim I'm never listening to Iqbal, I would go for teachings of our Prophet. BTW I changed your mind, you thought that he was a weak poet, but now listen to your own words " People in India revere Iqbal probably more than any other country....." A weak poet can't do all this.. That was the point we were arguing around & Buddy I won..... He was for fighting for free India esp. for Muslims of India... What would have been a better solution.

I would say again and again in full sense that Iqbal was weakest of poets and no one in civil neutral world thinks him as an ideologue. Finding history in a wrong way is another way of glorifying or apeasing the antagonist. I might be having less intellectual abilities than you but I believe they are still more than eough to understand yours.
