The Human Beings were a band from Detroit's east side. This is actually the B-side of their hit single, Because I Love Her, which was released on Warner Brothers and peaked at #19 on the charts of WKNR (the area's leading radio station) in May 1965. The Human Beings released a couple of other singles on the Impact label and called it a day. They are NOT the same group as the Human Beinz that recorded for Capitol in 1967-1968. That band was from Youngstown, Ohio.
Great to see a video clip, although the Human Beings themselves got practically no camera time whatsoever. This was the flip side of their May 1965 monster classic single, "Because I Love Her" on Warner Brothers Records. The A-side is truly one of the greatest garage band records of all time, bar none.
i know what you mean i had about four vidoes pulled off by WMG because of the songs they are real jerks you almost want to stop doing vidoes sometimes
yeah, i'm always looking...i'd post more stuff but it'd just get pulled...just mentioning certain shows gets your page a visit from a copy lawyer...some of them are real asses.
do you have any more Shivaree shows, I was at the Shivaree show that featured the Human Beings, I wish it was clearer, do you happen to have the Shivaree show that featured Ike and Tina Turner and the Ikettes? I was on that one too.
this isn't the shivaree episode, this is a tribute video i made to the 60s go-go dancer...the two human beings tracks from shivaree are on yt if you search...i have a few full shows, not sure about the turner one...if you upload complete episodes they can get a bit tetchy....

I love songs with one chord. Who needs 3 chord rock and roll?

Love the Go-Go dancing! Cool version of the tune. I still have to put Link Wray's at the top of my list.
