  • Thanks good stuff..

  • I love it!!!

  • Jambaylaya origianlly used Ham. (Jambon) which is where Jambaylaya stems from.

  • Thank you for sharing this recipe :)

  • Jambalaya G.R.

  • i used your recipe for dinner tonight and it was amazing! thanks a lot! ^ ^

  • I made this and it was yummy. Thanks for the video.

  • I heart jambalaya

  • and u cut ur celery amazingly quick!

  • The color of the stock is just because it has been reduced. Boiled down to concentrate the flavor. As far as my knife skills, well, years of practice.

  • added mushrooms and red potatoes to this recipe!! REALLY good!!!! and much more filling..

  • would it hurt to add mushrooms? I know it's not "traditional".

  • You can add whatever you want, I just provided you with the basic recipe that you are free to build on as you see fit.

  • heys ryanakarcher. ive seen ur videos...most of em..and ive enjoyed watching them but really havent tried any as im a sorta like a health consisious person..mind my spelling.. so if you do have any videos on healthy cooking with low fat items (:

  • Hey there, this recipe right here is very healthy. There is very little fat and no where near as much sodium as you'd get from a boxed jambalaya. If you wanted to reduce the carbs and increase the fiber you could precook brown rice until it was about 75% done and substitute that for the white rice. Use low sodium canned tomatoes and reduced sodium broth. However, I will do some light Mediterranean recipes in the near future. Thanks for watching.

  • oh i see..thanks

well im singaporean....a asian, muslim, hindu country and well the chicken broth we use is boiled chicken bones in some salt..and pepper...and boil to make a broth.. and can we use like normal diced tomatos? and the broth we asians use? whats the ingredients of ur broth u use in ur country?

  • These things you mentioned are the ideal ingredients. I just used canned from the grocery store for convenience. Boiled chicken parts is how the broth is made here too, but it's available to purchase from the grocery store. Fresh tomatoes are also better. Use 3-4 tomatoes chopped up.

  • oh i see i see...okok~ but we get clear soup...but ur stock seems like golden..yellowy kind?

  • my philosophy on healthy eating is that my taste buds won't lie to me, I'm in perfect health, sugar is good for you, so is fat, eat bucket loads of the stuff, never trust scientists, they think too much

  • Great!! I like to put in a splash of white wine together with the veggies at the beginning! Gives nice flavor!

  • good stuff man, im subscribing!

  • Fantastic! I hope you enjoy it and the rest of my videos. They're coming rather slowly lately with the summer time here now and all, but I have some planned for the very near future. Thanks.

  • Add them raw and stir them in right before it goes in the oven

  • Thanks, Im thinking of adding shrimp to this. When would be a good time to add it?

  • At the very end, or else they turn tough and rubbery!

  • im trying to buy alligator meat on line. they sell different varieties such as fillets, nuggets, sausage, etc. which one should i buy? thanks.

  • Fillets, cut them into 1/2" cubes for use in this recipe

  • Wow...The finished dish looks outstanding.

  • I love Jambalaya...I'm putting this in my playlist! 5 stars
