  • this is very interesting. how much do you charge for cleaning window and how do you charge?

  • been a window cleaner for close to 5 years now, and it is crazy how people are so amazed how we do what we do without getting streaks, and when we have a backflip or the double hand technique its great entertainment we get crazy dont we

  • Hey What squeegee do you use ? Like your technique.

  • you're as good as me, almost:)

    nice video!

  • window cleaning is important for all. My video is almost similar to this.

  • i work for this guy and we started out with like 10 accounts and now we are one of the biggest window and floor companys in the us, over 1500 window accounts and 900 floore accounts monthly to all of you who sed we would go out of buisness, and yes he does that on every window and no he does not use a rag and no the outter edge is not fuzzy and he did the top with a pole first before he did the bottem,

  • good job on building the customer base....

  • Very nice!

  • join the master guild of window cleaners

    youtube.com/watch?v=DKKWaFtfNcQ

  • You skipped the tops and didn't wipe the metal .

  • I too am a professional window cleaner from New York high rises - now do get me wrong - all the flash in the world is good PR but unfortunately, by the time you reach in your 40's your not looking for flash and wow - your just glad to get the damn window cleaned - lol - loved the technique.

  • This guy is good, but try doing this in the uk when a huge storm has blown though, window cleaners nightmare, good vid though:)

  • i think your using up a lot more energy to not necessarily get the job done any quicker or as effective

  • WIndow ninja - thats awesome. I am a project manager for a restoration company, and we do a lot of daily cleaning services, I am going to show this vid to my window cleaners. Great work!

  • @jgunzzz dont take it that this guy knows the best way to clean windows im sure your window cleaners are doing the job just right

  • Holy freaking hell. I washed windows for many many years but never got this good

  • you should do a how to on ur technique

  • Doesnt look like fun, looks like more work than u have to do! From Window cleaner 15 years

  • haha i just watched the whole vide i now realize this guy is joking has anybody noticed he's cleaning the same winows over and over again its a joke he's not really cleaning shit he's wasting time and money fucking around somebody fire this guy or train him to clean windows the right way

  • on the black windows i seen at least 6 spots your gonna have to redo if not the entire window watch as he pulls the bottom of the middle window perfect visible mistake this guy is a hack and thats why all his videos are crappy quality so you can't see the fuckups if he tried that at my business i'd kick him in his ass and tell him to clean like a professional or get the fuck from in front of my store its window cleaning not a circus act and if he worked for me i'd tell him the same

  • I would like to see him clean interior windows like that.

And splash water on the clients wares.

  • @polyglot1858 i would like see him bitch slap you more then seeing splash water on the clients muahahah THUMB UP FOR THIS if you like :D

  • crazy...im lucky i can pull left to right!

  • 4 steps to a clean window:

1 scrub and wet the whole window

    2 squeegee the whole window

3 towel the edge and ledges, also the bottom of a glass door.

4 INSPECT THE WINDOW ( repeat if nessesary )

do the job in a timely fashon, RIGHT the FIRST time.

thats how to effectivly wash windows. thankyou

  • He dosn't clean the whole window on tall windows, only half the job done.

Also thats why old window washers have bad backs. It's allowed to have

larger squeegees, and a pole as not to bend down as much. And why dosn't he wipe the edges? Other than that amusing.

  • Hahahahah!!! I'm a Master Window Cleaner as well, but this guy is bad ass. LOL SWEET!

  • I have been window cleaning for four years and you are the best...amazing how in the hell do I learn the full circle....

  • @prof13 CAN ANY ONE IN HERE GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO GET STARTED IN THIS BUSINESS I WANT MY OWN WINDOW WASHING BUSINESS BUT I DONT KNOW WAT TO DO I HAVE WHENT TO COMMERCIAL PLACES LIKE HOOTERS AND ASKED IF THEY HAD A WINDOW WASHER THEY SAID THAT THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH A WINDOW WASHER HOW DO YOU GET A CONTRACT FOR WASHING WINDOWS AND HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE FOR A COMMERCIAL PLACE FOR PLACES LIKE HOOTERS

  • @prof13 CAN ANY HERE GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ON HOW AND WHERE TO GO TO GET STARTED IN THIS BUSINESS I HAVE ASKED AROUND I WHENT TO HOOTERS AND ASKED THE MANAGER IFHE HAD A WINDOW WASHER AND HE SAID THAT HOOTERS CORPORATE HAS A CONTRACT FOR A WINDOW WASHER MY NEXT QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU GET A CONTRACT TO WASH WINDOWS IN DETAILS PLEASE AND HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE

  • @rocketdude121 If you know nothing about window cleaning yet, get hired as an apprentice and learn the tricks. It took me 28 years to get to where I am. It takes experience and practice. Just keep practicing. But if you are going to solicit businesses, you are going to run in to that. You never make as much money on a commercial job either. Which is ok, because usually, they have you clean their windows monthly or quarterly or yearly. If you want the money start with residential.

  • @rocketdude121 If you want to go on your own, start small get some good

basic tools. target mom and pop places. Set your price & specificatoins

(30/ hr is a good rate cost is 1/2 time) one 20.00 job once a mo. is 240.00

per year, and you can sched that job all year.Build a route ,240.00 per

    customer x 20,50,100,1,000 etc...(example). A good biz card helps.

    I hope this helps

  • @rocketdude121 i'm just like you at first newbie really excited but it's take time build and learn have experiance as ZetaWatcher Said it's a good idea to get hired from someone. trust me if you go on your own with no experience first few thing you gonna bump into." hard to find accounts, leave alot of streak, you run around your time whole day and maybe you make 10 bucks, because you dont know what you doing lol. not enough money paying ur gas. these few problem when i started lol

  • economy of motion--'brevity is the soul of wit' Bill Shakespeare

  • I am stilll learning the double techniue, although i do have the backflip which eliminates me from using two hands, and unlike the vice-vesra this has the squeege placed over the mop head so it can make pole work easier and the fan technique is tricky since the pressure needed is much more than normal and its heavy like 2lbs for tool but its great...wanna race lol, graet job brother

  • @bpwestmoreland I also like to use the

backflip, however I use a 14" wetter with

a blue microfiber wetter glove, and

a 18" channel. It saves on the weight

and does a good job on high windows,

    also tall ground level.

  • How much can you charge for say a big 6 window store like that...3 bucks a window and do you also do the inside??

  • @dasmackman CAN ANY ONE GIVE ME ADVICE HOW TO GET JOBS WASHING WINDOW AND WATS A GOOD PRICE I WHENT TO COMMERCIAL LIKE HOOTERS AND ASKED THE MANAGER IFHE HAD A WINDOW WASHER HE SAID THAT THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH A WASHER SOME O THE PLACES WHENT TO THEY ALL SAID THE SAME THING SOME SAID THAT THERE CORPORATE OFFICE HAD A CONTRACT FOR A WINDOW WASHER WELL HOW DOES ONE GET A CONTRACT AND HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE

  • @dasmackman CAN ANY HERE GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ON HOW AND WHERE TO GO TO GET STARTED IN THIS BUSINESS I HAVE ASKED AROUND I WHENT TO HOOTERS AND ASKED THE MANAGER IFHE HAD A WINDOW WASHER AND HE SAID THAT HOOTERS CORPORATE HAS A CONTRACT FOR A WINDOW WASHER MY NEXT QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU GET A CONTRACT TO WASH WINDOWS IN DETAILS PLEASE AND HOW MUCH CAN YOU CHARGE

  • Shit... funny , looks cool but not very practical for bang-out work, I like the technique though.

If I did that on my Highrises I wouldn't knock them out as fast. Time and detail are of the essence on my side of things, showmanship is fun though... Keep it up

  • nice to see someone enjoying thier work

  • I was taking ideas for a window cleaning course, and I will show your video.

  • i think people like you is what is keeping window cleaning in style .i have been a window cleaner for 13 years and have never seen it done with the circles great idea

  • quit over laping! And you would be faster! your wasting time!

  • Jeez... and I thought I was pretty fast. I need to get into doing shops, restaraunts etc. I've been window cleaning a few years on a weekend just for a bit of extra pocket money. I really want to leave my full time job soon and start my own window cleaning business.

  • john,

Thanks for the compliments and positive feed back, I had only been cleaning windows for six months when I did this video, I had other window cleaners tell me it looked stupid, and I shouldnt do it. but I laughed when they ask me now to train them.

I often help my competition in my home town. Until then... DO WORK! May god bless your steps. WNDANNJA

    BTW.. what are you packing?

Is that an unger handle with an unger soaker?

  • Thanks for your excitement, with that excitement you will go far in whatever you do. Ettore super channels.

  • This guy is faster than Usain Bolt!!!

  • Thanks for the positive feedback. Its nice to see window cleaners enjoying the video.

  • streakfree; what size applicator and blade do you use? 18"? are they both the same size? cheers.

  • I can do this with a 30" squeegee, I always try to use the same size applicator.

  • I've been doing windows for the past 8 years. I'm 23 years old now. I got the speed that you have but I do 1 thing at a time. By watching this, it gives me an idea. haha Good work man. Very accurate. Love it. Keep it up! =]

  • you got some real skill there. it looks like the windows were already clean though. i clean in a town centre and there's spit and sick on the windows. you got to scrub em down. i've not seen anything like you though, (but i'll be imitating next week!) respect!

  • Try the circular motion, it will help with the stubborn spots, these windows were filthy when we started recording, you can tell by the drag in the squeegee in the vid. Everyone says I am much faster in person. Thanks for your positive comments

  • I have been doing windows for a construction company in St. Louis for a while. I've never seen anybody do what you do. My boss doesn't need to see that:)

  • you the man , thanks for your positive comments. I won't tell your boss!!! LOL

  • pretty swweeet motion streak free, are you in socal, I think I have seen your webpage... Just wonder how much you would charge for a commercial pane of glass like that for exterior monthly cleaning. about $1 or $2 bucks apiece?

and by the way, when you swirl your squeegie around in a circle 2 or 3 times when approaching the bottom of the glass, is that doing something because I've never seen that?

  • The circles are a cool looking way to get stubborn spots out. I charge 8.00 for both sides of a 48 inch square. Your goal should never want to be the cheapest, be the best and learn from every kind of window cleaner. Thanks for your positive comments. I love my job.

  • Streak-man,Wit that hair cut yoos look like a Devil-Dog...are yoos a former Girine...ifn yoos are thanks for yoos service! Hats off to all our military, former and present ! Grrrrrr

  • If all yoos kid will take note,he bends at the waist not the knees, this is more productive, easier on the body, also did yoos kids read his reply to Just-Man? he uses TSP Tri Sodium Phosphate it's the best(to heck wit yoos greenies thier aint no global warming that's a crock) a little TSP won't hurt the enviroment.Oh by the way,Streak-Man it's what the old schoolers used!Old School is a good thing we're thier legacy we're thier progeny!

Streak-Man I loved the video the music fits yoos style !

  • I've been In the industry for 32 years and and have mastered every aspect of it and I don't consider myself an old schooler yet!! But I did and do know a few of them and I'm a better cleaner for It. I'm trained by the old school. My angle has always been why re-invent the wheel! Just utilize it and install 440 HEMI WILDCAT on it and fly ! Yoos kids my advice to yoos all is to learn from those that have earned thier stripes! "OTHERWISE YOOS WON'T BE WORTH A DAM" and just a bucket hound !

  • Your good...but your asuming that old is bad.Well Son old school put yoos on the map old school developed this industry, have some respect and apprecation for the old school cleaners they've earn it.One day others will call yoos old school and you'll be just as good maybe better but they'll call yoos old school.Reconizing our roots is key to self awareness,You didn't design this industry you've mastered it which means you are a Mastercleaner.Don't knock those Masters that came before us, Son!

  • If you dont mind my asking where are you located. I would love to have you train for our company if location wouldn't be too much of a factor.

Your style is very unique! Its refreshing to see a pro who has honed his skills to prefection.

  • Springfield, Ohio, sorry for the delay in replying, I thought I replied 2 months ago. I will train anyone, because I always learn new ideas from others

  • hey man please reply to me if you can....I clean windows a lot for customers. In your vid you don't wipe the edges with a cloth. Aren't there like water spots from the edge of the squeege?

  • I use tsp and water with a little dish soap, My rubber sticks out about 1/2" way more than usual, if you watch the video you will note how i handle the corners first. Please note this way isnt effective for first time cleans. These are Weekly, Bi Weekly, and Monthly accounts. Thank you for you positive comment

  • I love my job, thank you for seeing that, and thank you for your comment.

  • Brilliant. Looks like you're really having fun and taking a pride in yourself.

  • why the cirles?.......lol

  • If you have a stubborn spot, like bird droppings, it's a cool and effective way to go over that spot to make sure you get it.
