The only problem I have is that the money was given out in cash. They could have struck a deal with national suppliers and gotten a 25% discount that could have saved the taxpayers 35 million. When you give poor people cash that is supposed to be spent on uniforms and school supplies, much of the money will end up being spent on beer, cigarettes and video games.

The only problem I have is that the money was given out in cash. They could have struck a deal with national suppliers and gotten a 25% discount that could have saved the taxpayers 35 million. When you give poor people cash that is supposed to be spent on uniforms and school supplies, much of the money will end up being spent on beer, cigarettes and video games.

I blame free market fascism for the slow recovery. Did the stock market go up the last 8 years. I'm not saying it's outstanding, but it sure is a hell of a lot better than it was. At least our factories are not laying people off and actually hiring people. The rich pig corporate dictators wanted to profit off of sending jobs over seas to china.
