if you havn't played either of the games it would be awful to spoil it for you, but tidus is a dream of the fayth in the first game that goes away in the end, but along the way he falls in love with yuna, so you know its all sad when he fades away. and yuna is the summoner who defeats sin in x and then becomes a sphere hunter in x-2 and shes searching for tidus and

stuff, and lenne (not jenne lol) is a songstress from 1000 years back who's beau was shuyin but they got killed, and then yuna meets shuyin in the farplane thinking its tidus (cause they look alike) and shuyin thinks yuna is lenne, but then yuna realizes its not tidus and in the end everyone gets reunited and yeah ;] but there is of course more to the story so play the games!!

I don't want to spoil anything, but the story DOES suck for the obvious reason that this game's main marketing is the girls and their sexy/cool outfits. And Yuna sings. WTH!?

...Yes, I know the REAL ending, but it's only added to satisfy the kids who need fairytale endings. For someone a little more mature, original X's ending is much better.

its true, but you have to admit the storyline was good. it might have been girly but I am a final fantasy fan and I was satisfied with the ending and they filled in the gaps of the story of FFX.

I understand where you're coming from, but personally I wish they didn't fill the "gaps" with another unnecessary game. It would've been much better to leave some things (i.e. the ending) to imagination. In my mind X2 is more like an "what if" ending rather than an official sequel.

Yea the storyline sucks. The game's too girly and not much happens in it. The battle system is kinda nice though and Shuyins cool... thats about it.
