@TheJasminstarr The 90s were HORRIBLE, Every decade apart from the 90s was fantastic, with maybe the exception of the first Noughties. Seriously, I was born in the 90s, and every person I grow up with is stuck in that era, Listening to Blink 182, Offspring, Or random douchebags who started their bands after the 90s but they are pretty much from there anyway. I have nothing against old music, except if its plain terrible and ruins a generation.
@MrSparta767 : Sorry dude, I have to disagree with you on this one. I was sixteen in 95 and there was some awesome music around. Check out: Chili Peppers' - Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Jamiroquai - Return of the Space Cowboy and Paul Wellers Stanley Road. If you can seriously say after listening to those that all 90's music sucked, I will eat my shoe.
@TravellingMan79 I used to listen to them. Used to love it, but if this sounds weird, I feel I grew up. Alot of people in my generation are just stuck in a loop. Those 3 are probably the better examples of 90s music. But I still feel that the 80s gave so much, the 60s gave so much, the 50s gave so much. But the 90s? and the 00s? Same sounding stuff for two decades.
@MrSparta767 Aha, but that wasn't your original statement. You said "The 90s were HORRIBLE". Sorry to sound contrite, but my intention was only to show that they certainly weren't. Also, you may have grown, up, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the classics!!
@MrSparta767 Wtf! You guys are fucking retarded! DO yo goddamn research and get off mainstream of the 90's and 00's! Keith Washington Joe and Jagged Edge. Cmon now now! And now the 00's we have Dwele Raheem Devaughn Jesse Boykins Eric roberson Darien Brockington the list goes on for ever! Stop listening to trash and listen to MUSIC.
@MrSparta767 All genres of music have their moments, MrSparta. However dubstep is a disgrace to electronic music, think of house and techno and then compare it, its a rare case that the whole genre is daft, created for the hormonally dim,
@narcher91 Yes but not ALL Dubstep is a "disgrace" and sometimes its a question of finding the right balance between Electro and Dubstep to create something much more likeable. I know alot of absolute retards who like it. But thats because I'm in England and they listen to "original" untainted, shitty Dubstep. The type that gave the genre a bad name. But the point is that I could hate an artist, or a type of a genre. But it all comes down to the song.
@MrSparta767 I'm in England i was around a couple of years a go when it was still very much underground. Even the watered down dubsteps fails to satisfy on any level. And don't have anything on other types of electronic music, from all the way from New Order, 808 State to Derrick May, anything.
dub-step is various noises having to do with bass. its kinda dumb. i prefer bro-step because its a higher pitch and has a meaning but over all i prefer 80's
@xoxopremokid Baconstep, Brostep, Drumstep, English Dubstep, American Dubstep, Complextro, but no matter the genre (except usually with English Dubstep (Fucking Flux Pavilion and Nero, everything sounds the damn same (except for Innocence-Nero. Check that one out)) every song is different. And any genre of music can have good and bad moments.
I LOOOOOOOVVVEEE me some Luther music!!! Damn! Wish I could hold a tune! LOL! It dont matter though...my nei8ghbors will tell you that the fact I cant hold a tune still dont stop me from belting out a Luther song on the regular...(sorry neighbors..) :)
@phillygrl69 Theres good music from every era, yes even some... 90s. Thing is between 2000-2009 late. We had nothing good. ONLY pop crap and things left over from the 90s. But about a year back I discovered EDM, and damn its becoming big. And Its something I don't find crap. But it doesn't mean I don't still love Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross, some Rolling Stones, etc.
From the first time I heard this song I loved it. I love the complicated lyrics and the way his vocal style makes them seem natural and easy. A great song sung by a great voice!

@MrSparta767 Hating dubstep isn't being closed minded though to be fair, it's a terrible genre and is for little kiddies that like to go out and drink bacardi breezers while sniffing lines of crushed up paracetamol, if you're lookin for good dance music, it's gotta be house, garage, trance, euphoria and a bit of jungle.
Theres shitty songs in all genres. And I could say alot worse about the stereotypes of people that listen to Screamo for example. I love House, and pretty much anything as long as it sounds good. No genre is ever perfect. And sometimes its a continental thing. Such as Dubstep being invented in England. Failing miserably to take off, then the Americans and other countries perfecting it. Don't hate Dubstep. Hate the 90% of it that sucks~
