I think there are a lot of good games with good campaigns but for cod i feel like waw cause it is just epic and the best, but again i feel like they should have put part of it USA vs Nazis. Also I feel out of the 4 cod games from cod 4 it wasn't about killing a certain person it was about war, and surviving with your teamates and so far all the endings were you kill someone are kinda lame, but if i had to chose one I would chose black ops

But that's only because it was my first FPS and when I played it I thought it was AMAZING! Going back to it now and playing HL2 again... I must say, it's still the best!

You never really want to take a breather or think that something is annoying.

As for BO campaign... I guess it's 'flashier' but I still liked the characters from COD4 way more. Especially the McMillan ACT, by far my favorite!

@KillerDCInstinct No EMP bombs just a nuke used as an EMP bomb. Price had it detonate outside of the atmosphere so that no real harm could be done(except for that unfortunate astronaut of course!). All nukes release an EMP(electromagnetic pulse) when they detonate and that's why all the helos, comms, and red dots(and holosights!) went down. My main confusion with that part of the campaign was the torrential rain. Can anyone clarify why that happened for me. Thanks in advance.

@stawg007 the reason it felt 'dated' is because it was made 2004, for its time (and somewhat now) its a top of the line game, if your to play it, i recommend on the PC and take a day and play ALL 3 episodes of HL2 or start from the beginning in HL1 and make it a weekend and play them all. i'm sure once u get sucked into the storyline, you'll change your mind.

@Meutkill Reach's campaign was a very hit/miss campaign as well as B.O's SP, i would definently give my GOTY to Reach, based on the shear fact of Forge, Multiplayer and the custom games. Custom Games has always made the HALO games for me because theres nothing better than sitting on ur couch with 4 of ur buddies playing Grifball, Juggernaut, Races etc the list goes on. whereas COD has never been able to satisfy me (or many of my friends for that matter) but BO is a big step in COD games imo
