  • Suluk46 has a padded frame sheet.

I think it is firm Plastazote.

  • Nice pack. Good review. Take care.

  • Finally just finishes the series. Thanks so much.

  • I need to buy a new backpack and guess what... Probably I'm gonna buy this one, or really similar to yours :P Good review. Very good. Best regards, Greg

  • I use to have the british Army Patrol pace...it was one main compartment and two side compartments....

After using it a few times...I sold it. Thats the thing about packs....

as we are all different...we all like different things.

I like the look and set-up of this one. Reminds me of the Aussie ALICE pack.

  • Eagle also makes a regular and a large version of this pack. Check there website or google it. I bought mine through another website.

  • Eagle makes an aluminum frame for this pack.

  • you might try an insultion supply store.a flat piece of armaflex would be thicker and more comfortable as a knee pad.thats what i use and its great, and cheap.just a couple bucks.

  • Hard plastic might be a good option for a frame. Lots of mid weight packs like the usmc assault pack, use a hard plastic sheet.
