i won't say you have an 'English accent' when u speak Cantonese, you just don't pronoun the words correctly - that happens to a lot of non-native Cantonese speakers...Malaysians for example :)

Yeah, when you speak english you sound very slightly chinese, and I don't speak chinese but from what I've heard, you sound like you have a slight general american accent rather than full-on chinese.

It's nothing all that noticeable, someone would only notice it if they were looking for it.
