@heythisistheday I believe this arrangement is by Michael W. Smith. We sang it when I was in high school and it was a Christmas concert filled with his music.
@heythisistheday The composer/arranger is Michael W Smith. It was originally done with a boy soprano singing the first verse, the boy choir singing the second and a full adult choir joining on the third verse.
i sang this song for my church on christmas ... and they loved it so much they want me to do it again but i was so nervous ... i dont know if i can do it again
Push your breath out. Your tone is very airy and make sure your diaphragm is pushing to keep that air in and use it instead of it going past your vocal folds. Keep singing though!
I wonder when the original poetry was written? The music seems to match it very well. We sometimes sing it in our Sacrament Service and I love it.

@heythisistheday This sounds like the version arranged by Ronn Huff, and published by Word Music.

You're pretty good but here are a few pointers:
Push your breath out. Your tone is very airy and make sure your diaphragm is pushing to keep that air in and use it instead of it going past your vocal folds. Keep singing though!
