  • An officer may write a ticket for MVA Section 129(1) Red light at intersection $167, but other violations may be given based on the situation.

The fine for not paying full fare on Translink is out of proportion to this fine, like the mayor said.

Time to up the fine for red light runners to no less than $1,000.

  • and if someone can be electrocuted for failing to pay the extra $.25 fare on Translink, then it seem reasonable, under those terms, to shoot red light runners cold.

  • If ripping off Translink for a couple of stinking bucks deserves getting electrocuted over, then lets go get those basturds that have frozen our wages for over ten years. It is THEIR fault that no one has the money for fare.

I calculate that over the past ten years, forced into frozen wage jobs, I have been ripped off tens of thousands of dollars. Thats more than a measly fare.

Let's go get the creeps who have stolen our wages!!!

  • I'm wondering, sometimes the Skytrain stops for a certain amount of time inside or outside a station. Do you suppose Translink does that on purpose so the rider's fare expires and have to buy another one?

  • Hey they only try to kill a small segment of their ridership.

How many electrocution a year is enough? Will these stats grow year by year until there are hundresd in a year?

These guys need to be STOPPED NOW.

They could justify killing your old mother with the excuses this guy just pumped out.

  • Guess who the Translink cops boss is?

WARD CLAPHAM! Do you know what his last job was?

    Boss of the YVR 4!

Ward Clapham is a menace to public safety as his officers, from RCMP to Translink, think it is their job to electrocute people to death. Shouldn't he be in Afghanistan.

You cant EVER believe ANYTHING Ward Clapham's officers say. They ALWAYS protect their own murderers.

  • I recall Policy indicating the use of a Taser in non-compliance events. I don't see the big deal.

  • very well said

  • Part 2 is now available.
