  • Thanks for the tip! My Dr. says diet soda contains a lot of sodium which causes water retention. I guess it's back to the water for me too! Hang in there girl, I'm with ya! :)

  • I gotta say Mikilynn I am so happy to see you posting updates on this channel...

Let's do this - me and you... it's time!

And don't get down at all ok? one day at a time...

  • I just went through the same thing 6 months ago...totally stopped drinking diet pepsi and now drink ginger ale or sprite (regular) if I really need the soda kick. The extra calories are horrible but the aspartame in the diet is worse. Now I drink seltzer daily but really need to drink just water. It is so hard....I know your pain! Keep up the good work! :)

  • Hey beautiful! How ya been?

  • @mzrey

Hey Jennifer, doing good, how bout you? :)

  • @mikilynn2 Doing great! As far as weight loss, I am doing great! I am down 34 lbs! I am pretty happy about it. Keep on keepin on!

  • good luck!

  • @SuperQueenie13

Thank you, I'm gonna need it! (Hehehhee) :)

  • Diet pepsi can not affect your weight at all. I drink 4-6 cans of diet pop a day, and I even take it right before competition. If you had changed your carb intake that can make to retain water for a day or two. Diet pop has nothing to do with it. If you are cutting out sweets and DIET pop is your only addiction, you will have no problem loosing weight, even if you drink 12 a day.

  • @thebarbiewithmuscle

Really? You drink 4-6 cans a day?! Whoa, I thought I was bad with 2 or 3! I think something about my system is seriously screwed up. I've got to get my blood check, hormones/thyroids etc.

  • Miki...you are so damned cute! i have a soda addiction, too...but I prefer coke zero!

you should look up "the wall" on YT and enter! I'm doing it (and a biggest loser competition at my gym)...it seems to be helping me stay on track (for the most part...I still have bad eating days now & then)...good luck! and hope your "puffiness" goes away! hahaha .....stay healthy

  • @Soupcan309

Oh thanks Doug, I gotta do something different... a detox maybe. :) I'll go check out "The wall"... what's the deadline?
