Very good Matt, but you need a motorcyclist to go and handle that camera for you then there might not be shots of the big lad riding off with the side stand down. I'm still available.
Good luck Geoff, we did this route but from Syndey to Sydney on an XV back in 1996. We had such a good time a 2 month trip ended up taking 6 months & we got deported for overstaying our visa. Take care & good luck and oh, try not to leave the side stand down ;-)

I think those Triumph machines lift their stands automatically after a few hundred yards - which lets face it is just as well !!

Listen, leaving the side stand down is the only way I can get my knee down on corners without getting the rest of me down with it.
That was just to check you were all paying attention, and you were. You can have the rest of the day off as a special treat.
