Its nice to see that some schools still see the importance of arts especially at a young age. When I was in elementary school they were always trying to get rid of our music program. People do not realize that music gives kids a positive outlet to express themselves and come of out their shell. It keeps them off the streets. These kids are amazing and so full of spunk for their age.

To the children: Please keep up the passion and don't ever forget how much fun you are having right now no matter how old you get.I went to Port Richmond HS and was involved in several bands. Those were some of my best memories. And watching you guys just made me remember those good times. Thanks for the wonderful videos and for bringing back my memories and a smile to my face.

I've always wondered... what's with the hand gestures? Every song has them. I'm just curious what brings them on.. do the kids just do them, does Mr. B show them to them so they remember easier?

@averyjays I believe its b/c Mr. B encourages the students to get into the music and to enjoy it. Tells them to not worry if they think someone will make fun of them etc, to just feel the music and do what they want

That is very eye catching. I'm not sure what her parents had to say about that or if it was a chemical reaction. This version was different from what Denise did last year. Only thing is I don't consider this acappella (no music only singing e.g. American Idol auditions) because of Daniel-san and the bongos
