It is nice to see a fellow artist put in the effort to get good at something. Practice, effort, persistence. That's what makes you good, not accident of birth provoking magical ability with an instrument. You've got 4 years worth of videos up here and all sorts of people misunderstanding just how much practice you've clearly put in to reach this level of ability. It's nice to see a fellow Cure fan putting in the time.
I love the interesting zen like motion you got going on here, very new wave inspired, and not the usual bore of people going up and down a scale. You have a unique tone that sets you apart from the metal heads, repetitive blues men, and wanna be punk rockers that I hear so often. I'm interested to see where you go from here. The future is unwritten isn't it? ;)
This is literally one of the most amazing things I've ever listened to, I love it, it really reminds me of some of John Frusciante's solo music, and john frusciante is my favorite musician
I wish you all the best luck with your music. It's rare that real talent like yours gets appreciated, but I'm trying my best to spread the word to people I know over here in london. Keep the music up (:
Whoa... I just watched a bunch of your videos and can see how much you progressed over the time you started this channel... you're really awesome at the guitar. I was totally into this one.
Love it. reminds me of the really tastefully melodic playing of they guy in The New Bohemians (Edie Brickell and...) Their 1988? hit What I Am, isn't indicative of their stuff (I'm not a fan of that song...but the rest has really superb guitar melodies - this might be their best song: watch?v=AMXnX_vNGTM
I love that you're good at everything. Guitar, singing, writing lyrics, programming drums, the cover art, those paintings on your wall... Why couldn't I have been given half of your talent! =P
Also because some atmosphere and soundscapes do recall me of The Durutti Column, I was lucky enough to be at two of their concerts during the 80s, and they always have been a big (although natural flowing) influence for me...
