This happened at least once on the original (1958-73) version of "Concentration" as well.
In his memoir "On Air", original "Concentration" host Hugh Downs wrote that one contestant correctly solved a puzzle with only two pieces revealed--"Bridgette Bardot".
Acording to Downs, the contestant was a structural engineer and after seeing a small part of the puzzle, he thought it was part of a suspension bridge, hence, the guess.
i'll tell ya, he got lucky not only was that a lucky guess, but SIXTEEN out of the 25 squares, (including # 21, had nothing behind them.) so the odds were that both squares would have nothing behind them, (but he picked the right square.)

Seems to me when this happens, they should bring back the losing player. Did she even get to select 2 numbers? Good grief!

Dennis would go on and win the red Pontiac Le Mans and retire undefeated.

Nice how we remember game show moments from 23 years ago like yesterday(or 17-18 years ago if you caught this on the rerun circa 1992 or 1993)

It's an epic win alright, problem is all it got him was a measly China Coffee Service.
