Since Charles Kuralt passed away, I've rarely seen "Sunday Morning." As the announcer introduces each segment, the viewers hear, "It's Sunday Morning on CBS, and here again is . . ." But to this day, my ears keep hearing, "... And here again is Charles Kuralt." Yes, I am stuck in the past, and frankly speaking, I like it that way.
And many thanks to you, Will, for posting this special edition of Sunday Morning!
Kuralt was BAAD (bad meaning good for you hip-challenged) in that American Bicentennial spot; he could have done some acting, but he was what he was, and he was good at what he did.
In This Clip, From 8:16 To 8:36, It Was CBS News' CBS Evening News With Dan Rather Video Promo For Monday Evening, July 7, 1997.
