I bought this game , played it for about 5 mins and put it on the shelf. Arcade mode is soooo boring I can't even get past it . Cliffs of Dover is going to be awesome .

Guys, dont buy this piece of crap pc-consoled port of a game. search for il2 cliffs of dover here on youtube. it scoming out in end of march. It is Storm of war, only they remaned it Il2 cliffs of dover

I just try to warn people who like realistic combat flight sims from buying it. I bought it and I played it 1 hour and I was tired of it. The only thing it has is OK graphics, the rest is shallow

I am an expert IL2 pilot with hundred of kills under my belt. Will I have any problems at the controls of this beast?? What pc hardware do you recommend for maximum settings??

@matrox This games is a lot easier than IL-2 and it runs perfectly even on slow hardware.If you have a decent dual core cpu and something like a 8800gt it should run fine.

@royraiden Idk because I have Birds of prey for Xbox360 I don't think Wings is for the other consoles And Birds of prey is just like this game but they left out so much stuff... So many planes and features. it sucks kinda :l and i think the xbox version doesn't have online servers any more because i can never join a game....

Nice video. I'm just amazed how much speed you're getting out of the Mustang, not even at full power settings. Makes me wonder if all is right with my copy, or settings.

@MACADEMIAC Its hard to fly it but it isnt impossible.First of all you need to lower your joystick sensitivity to somewhere around 70%(on the elevators)doing this will cover you if you yank the stick up or down from losing speed and then stalling the plane.Even with the sensitivity lowered I never yanked the stick all the way, smooth movements are key to maintain speed on this plane.And try not to do fancy maneuvers like a loop with this plane unless you dive first and gain enough speed.

@royraiden hi roy, thanks for your advice. i'm trying to fly the mustang and all other planes with full sensitivity and without nonlinearity or deadzone. Using the PS3 controller and it works fine, however with the mustang the problem is that is loses energy so fast. even a simple 25 degree coordinated level turn bleeds off the speed like crazy. without energy and speed the airplane stops being maneuverable, and it takes forever to get the speed back, even at full power. hope to see you online.

Well thanks!I play in custom with almost everything on simulator except torque effect(need to learn how to counteract it first)Well I have the elevator sensitivity cut down to half it makes it more easy to fly the heavy planes like that especially the P-47 and P-51.You need a lot of speed to dogfight with these planes and you need to be gentle on the stick.Even with the sensitivity down I need to move the stick very slowly.

Where are the settings for the hud and all that? I fly simulator mode, but I don't have "radar" display, makes it hard to find targets!

I play in custom difficulty.You can select what you want on the screen like the map and speed,etc.
