Goth is not being all black, it's merely a name of a emotion. The outside look upon the feeling is dark. Amy dresses up dark, because, as she said herself,

"I think that's the image everyone gets from listening to our music"

And Amy does write all her lyrics except for My Immortal, which belongs to Ben. And her career isn't based on "acting" like a goth. She dresses dark, yes, but all it will ever be is a emotion or part of personality. Since she doesn't have the emotion,
