    "To Seattle"

to learn about Seattle and the surrounding cities!

  • Wow, this is an old video. The Kingdome is still there.

  • Having an opinion does not make you any less of an American. That's like saying You are not a real italian if you like beef pizza and not pork haha. If you are a citizen of the US then you are an American rather you love the midwest and hate the west or you love the East and hate the south.. If you like every single last city just because its part of America that just makes you an American robot not a citizen. Love Peace and blessing People..

  • BTW, the UW is in Seattle just north of the Montlake cut.

  • Oh by the way sunsetsbythesea, the UW is in Seattle but on the north side of the cut. Come to UW its great!!!!

  • I'm so stoked to move to Seattle. I'm going to attend the University of Washington. Here i come Seattle! :)

  • i'm only a 9th grader, but i plan on going to UW when i'm older...I believe you can see seattle from the campus.

  • I was born here but moved when I was 2. I miss it. I will try to apply for college here. I might have a better chance getting admitted based on that.

  • you have a very beautiful city. hello from a northern cousin and frequent visitor from vancouver.

  • MY SEATTLE FAMILY IM COMING HOMEEEEEEEEEEEEE SOONN!!!! Thank God I HAVE TO SAY I HATE THE EAST COAST.. Im never leaving the west for the EAST AGAIN!!! Never let anybody tell you East coast cities are better than the WEST they are completely lying to you

  • umm.. what east coast city were you living in? if you don't mind me asking. and what was so wrong with it?

you have seattle and san francisco (real cities) and we have boston and new york (my hometown) as an answer.

i feel like the only pluses to SEA and SF is the natural setting to compliment gorgeous cityscapes, i happen to love SF. other than that, what makes them beyond comparable?

  • @akaajiroes I just love the west and thats just in my opinion The West is the be coast in America.. You have Seattle San Francisco Los Angeles San diego Las Vegas all of those cities I have enjoyed but that is my personal opinion. I know why you have that opinion most New Yorkers don't see it that way. I'm not a big fan of NY or NJ. I would take any Cali city over NY any day.. Again that just one mans opinion

  • thats your opinion to begin with and 2ndly, thewhole u.s. is beautiful and if u dont like it ur non american

  • @frankwhite432 guess I'm non american then I hate Okeechobee...For real its one of the uglist shittist towns 've ever been though, besides the ghetto in St. Louis lol that was pretty bad trash EVERYWHERE!!

  • There are plenty of jobs in Seattle, being able to spell correctly might help out.

  • HAHA Well if spelling keeps him from getting a job in Seattle he can always be the President not being able to read or spell did not stop BUSH.....

  • seattle its the best in allllllllllllllllllllll the world

  • aww no offense but i hate marysville with a passion

  • Haha. yea. Edmonds people feel that way about Lynnwood

  • I live in Marysville !

  • Ahh brings back memories! Too bad I'm in Kansas. Does anyone have a take on living in Everett?

  • omg i used to live in everett i loved it there

  • it's a lovely city..thanks for the vid

  • Must have been pre-collision days. Monorail is just a big, slow waste now. Should have been upgraded years ago.

  • Why, is it that slow now? But yea I'm aware that since I last visited Seattle last, there has been one major crash, and one a bad fire, on the Monorail. When I rode it, it SEEMED safe, but then I didn't notice that guideways got so close together, that trains could crash.

  • Actually I dont know how fast it goes...have never rode on it. And there has been 2 crashes....right after they opened it back up was another minor accident. The fire was pretty bad. People were stuck for a couple hours. We have a good layer of snow and ICE today...as bad as its ever been(ICE). Hows weather for you ??

  • @mrdavidjames I've been on it since it re-opened. It's not *that* slow, but it's kind of a "why bother?" mode of transporation. It only goes 2 places and not very far. It's fun for kids, probably kind of a joke for tourists, particularly for those that come from cities with real rail systems.
