This video has inspired me to look for some small runs here in Ohio. I know Ohio is not a great place for backcountry riding but would just be fun to practice in between my trips out to Colorado. Great video.
Cool...can anyone enlighten me as to how these shots were captured...camerawork seems pretty steady, but I don't imagine that guy was riding fresh powder in the bc while facing backwards...
Just mount the camera looking back and the guy in back follows your track. It is steady because, being mounted to your head, your body acts as a shock absorber. Look at some motocross and snowmobile videos. The shot is rock solid on the helmetcam, and the machine and ground moves beneath them.
hola desde Alicante, España. Enhorabuena por el video es precioso, con toda esa belleza blanca. con la camara enfocada hacia atras tienes un punto de vista espectacular, bueno lo dicho me ha encantado, un saludo
DUDE THAT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN! i can't wait for winter i just got a new snowboard and i am going up to WHISTLER TO CHECK OUT THEIR BACK COUNTRY!!! suppose to be soo insane!!!
If that ain't mother natures playground, I don't know what is. I am stuck here behind a desk watchin this and it's killin me. Can't wait for next season. Long live the board and the ride!!! Great Video.
That was a great video, it depicts the essence of the backcountry. Although I think the camera man must be better because he was able to do the same thing while holding the camera so steady and perfect for the other guy.
Dude - Californian living in Amsterdam missing the sessions like mad! Thanks for the encouragement as well as a kind instructional video for ridding deep ass powder. Never seen it from the fron t like that. BTW - listen to this video with Godsmack "someone in London" track playing. Almost too perfect.
Really great use of the helmet cam. Ii use one too, but only look forward with it. Your set up is really cool. Shotgun shell type? Mine is set up for skydiving. Rock on.
sick video

@FalconStkr1 I know the feeling. I live in Minnesota and we dont usually have hills without too many trees on them. You just have to look hard.
