There is no reason to think Enoch and Elijah have to taste death. Millions will be taken to heaven without having to die when Christ takes His Church home -- 1Cor 15:51-54. So, although it is commonly taught that it will be a former Patriarch -- there is no reason to think the Two Witnesses cannot be someone born into this world today to fulfill that role. We def need to keep our perspective open as these things unfold.

@wangtub43 I am pretty sure it's because the Book of Enoch was as you said "inspired by God", whereas, the Bible is the "Words of God", as God spoke through the prophets. There is a difference between the two. I believe several prophecies from the Book of Enoch. I hope this helps you.
@wangtub43 The book of Enoch seems to be corrupted. Parts of it seem to be written from the perspective of an Israelite, and of course with Enoch being the 7th from Adam, Israel wouldn't even exist. Not only that but some parts are inconsistent with the rest of the Bible. So although some parts are good for study and conformation, it is not 100% trustworthy.

YHWH told Moses & the people of Israel, in regard to Canaan & the giants, that He would send a spirit of fear and "the hornet" to defeat their enemies. All but Caleb & Joshua chickened out, not believing Him. 40 years later Rahab told the Israelites that her people's hearts "melt with fear" of the Israelites. We can pray for our enemies to be sent "hornets" & a spirit of fear. Most of all we need to fully repent & trust in Yahushua/Jesus..
If the nations don't repent, individuals still can.
