@Aguantefragile I'll tell ya--I can see why people are scared, but I'm intrigued and perplexed by her and can't help but continue to seek her out. she seriously tickles something in my brain, and yet she's proving to be extremely difficult for me to just jump into, unlike more contemporary artists that I love (ranging from Green Day to NIN to Michael Jackson to Tori Amos to Marilyn Manson, etc.) that I got into over the years.

@magyarwho that "man looking bitch" could kill Paris Hilton with her talent, kid. granted, Diamanda's is insanely difficult to get into for most people--but that doesn't mean she doesn't have talent. read up on her sometime--you'll quickly discover that she's a very highly trained musician. her style may be a little too avant garde for your tastes, but she's talented, trust me.
