  • I think it was good for him to make this video, not so girls can watch it too, but because its something newer and gave him a boost in views subs and likes, ":I ftw "

  • Grow up...

  • How do the figures measure up to a normal minifig? Are they the same height? Are the hair and head pieces interchangeable?

  • @dvdreviewsstudios oh yea HES A FUCKING KID FAG

  • i dont like these knew lego peeps

  • A lot of parents (who grew up with Legos) are troubled by these new sets for girls, which seem kind of demeaning both to girls and to LEGO. I appreciated your review from a boy's perspective and the point you made contrasting the style of the instruction manuals (and that you showed how she can leave her "Friends" confines and pick up a giant gun).

  • @mollyledfordsongs Having girl themed toys be somehow demeaning to girls has always puzzled me. If they like it and it isn't hurting them or turning them into vapid idiots or sociopaths who cares what the theme is. Having the boys perspective is a great thing. My 6 year old son has been nothing but City Police and Alien Conquest for months but all of a sudden he wants that Friends tree house and cafe. That is the great thing about Lego. They inspire both genders.

  • @sasjhwa When I saw the commercial I was struck with that "vapid idiot" tone, and I was rolling my eyes (the hot tub is the one I saw). I thought that, given everything else marketed to girls (Polly Pocket, etc. aisle), it was really unoriginal. But maybe I need to go take a closer look at that tree house. I would love to see more girl options, say, at the Build Your Own Minifigure station. More females in Lego City. More gender integration in general.

  • @mollyledfordsongs What I would love is if they were able to integrate hair and hats so every woman in a hat doesn't have to be bald.

  • "yeah you can bend them over"
