The worst team to ever make the playoffs.... Beats the defending champs!!! AND yes they were defending there championship... That's how it works... Your the champs until your dethroned ... Seahawks deserve some credit ...
@funkyflights no, they were NOT defending their championship. they didn't lose their Superbowl trophy from Superbowl 44 just because they lost to the Seahawks. the Saints were not the "defending champs". I really don't know why sports fans don't understand simple terms. Boxers and MMA fighters who defend their titles are defending champs.
Your philosophy is flawed... While they still keep the trophy from last year they are still in fact the defending Super-Bowl champions... The team that won the title the year before is the DEFENDING champions...
@funkyflights Your logic is ASSININE. Clearly, you don't have much of an education. The New Orleans Saints were NOT the defending champions in 2010. There was NOTHING to defend. Do you know what DEFENDING CHAMPION actually means? The Saints get to KEEP their Superbowl 44 trophy which represented the 2009 season, therefore they CAN'T be the defending champions.
A boxer defends his title. An MMA fighter defends his title. The Saints aren't defending anything. Wow, you're an idiot.
@spinnerNsports What is your opinion on the Dolphins/Jim Harbaugh talking about an opening at their head coaching spot when Tony Sparano is still the head coach? Also in response to your response to TheNFLEdgeHead31, Chan Gailey did a good job this year for the Bills. Though the wins didn't show up, like the Lions, they showed effort, and had a passion to try to win almost every game. I would officially describe Chan Gailey's job this year as "quietly good."
@godanselmo the Ravens offense is TOO INCONSISTENT. We still struggle on offense a lot. Plus, I don't trust the Ravens to win 3 road games to make it to the playoffs The only way the Ravens could get a home game in the playoffs would be if the Jets knock off both the Colts and the Patriots and both the Ravens and Jets make the AFC title game.
I'm still happy they are in the playoffs. I'm living there so can't complain. They need to step it way the hell up. I really can't say I'm expecting a good playoff though. Hoping for a winning streak
@TheOfficialBMottPage Jeff Fisher is one of the most overrated coaches in sports today. NFL analysts on TV and the radio always praise the guy, and FOR WHAT? Where are the RESULTS? The Titans have missed the playoffs in 5 of the past 7 years. They're stuck in mediocrity.
@TheNFLEdgeHead31 Okay, I understand that the Bills lost a lot of close games this year, but "amazing"? That's probably not the right word to use to describe Chan Gailey's job performance as coach this past season. The word "amazing" is the wrong adjective to use.
@spinnerNsports Yeah I used the wrong words. He was good and shouldn't be fired, since, as a Bills fan, he's been our only good coach since like 2005.
Seahawks are in but Tampa Bay Bucs aren't I hate that in NFL sometimes. I have been saying for sports needs to have the best teams in playoff brackets. Spinn what do you think maybe a good video we can do about it.
I swear I'm starting to think the NFL should start doing a playoff pool and go by the best records to get into the playoffs. I understand if you win your divison you deserve atleast a wild card spot but a home game too? The reason I'm saying this because the Bucs didn't make the playoff after winning 10 games.
just a though. The last team deemed worst playoff team ever when on to the super bowl. Now im not saying it will happen again but quest field is the hardest place to play in the NFL IMO so to act like they are a 1 and done is crazy. with the saints injuries in their backfield, the seahawks chances are even better.
@willieg54 People were calling the 2008 Arizona Cardinals the worst NFL playoff team ever, but they really weren't. There have been a lot of very mediocre 8-8 teams that have made the playoffs in NFL history that were probably a little worse than the 2008 Cardinals. Atleast the Cardinals had a lot of great talent on offense, and atleast they managed to go 9-7 (not a good record, but still better than 8-8 or 7-9).
@spinnerNsports in that same year an 8-8 team did get into the playoffs and WON their playoff game against a better record winning team in the Wildcard Round............. san diego (8-8) beat indy (12-4).

The Ravens are playing better football than Jets the at the moment. I think the Ravens will make the super bowl against the Bears.

Tom Cable isn't a X's and O's guy, Hue jackson is more valuable, if he left that would actually setback the Raiders, not Cable.

At least if my Rams beat the Seahawks they would have a respectable 8-8 Wild Card record. Not necessarily a good Division record but...

The Saints should win but you never know anything can happen in the NFL and Drew Brees is on the cover of the Madden game

If Chan Gailey gets fired, I'll be pissed. Even though the Bills went 4-12, Gailey was an amazing coach and shouldn't be fired.
