Wrestling must not be pinned to sexuality. We're all mere human beings, with a just a tiny bit of difference genetically where sexual preference is concerned, and that really has no relation to any "lifestyle" or gender. We're just human, human beings. Making categorical distinctions is wrong, not only genetically/biologically, but spiritually as well. The negativity really only kills the negater, not the negated, because the negated have a choice, to accept or decline, the negative imprecation.
The really disappointing thing is that while every human being deserves respect, perversions don't. Currently, pedophilia is still reviled in our culture. That too is changing.
The really sad thing is that "homosexuals" in large part identify with their sexuality more than anybody should. Some heterosexuals do, too, to a point. But you are more than who you have sex with--think about that. If you take a disagreement about lifestyle personally, you're being a bigot.
The reason why you get called a bigot is because your attitude towards gays comes from religious mythology, and not from logic, reason and science. The really sad thing is that most "christians" identify with their mythology more than anybody should.
Pedophilia is a perversion because it has a victim... the child. When two gay people love, there's no victim, and it's not perversion. It's beautiful.

Actually, the reverse is true. Many straight people--especially homophobic people--when the hear the word "homosexual" immediately think only about two people having sex, as though that's all that being gay means.
Also, your reference to "lifestyle" is a canard. There is no such thing as "the homosexual lifestyle." Gays are just a diverse in their lifestyles as straights are.
Good for you, Mr. Taylor! You're doing good work, and among the things that you can really cherish in life as the years pass are those times when you made a difference and took steps to make the world a better place. Clearly, you're doing that. Bravo!

Yes, sport should be about encouraging the best that one can be, regardless of aptitude or ability, just for the joy of it.
It should never be about demeaning or tearing down others, just for the sake of it, or to make oneself feel a bit better about themselves.
I have huge respect for Hudson - and others who support his goal.

Hudson Taylor takes "good sportsmanship" to new level. Athletic competition without hate or prejudice embodies the true value of sport.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you, Hudson. As a gay kid who hated soccer practice and feared most athletes, this is very healing. I'm high-fiving you- right now.
