  • VERY WELL PLAYED. I like the way you make the tunes come out of it. Astrid

  • I had to look up tansu! Not sure ours qualifies as it was made in India not Japan. I've just ordered the Billy Pigg music book "The Border Minstrel" so there may another of his tunes coming up in a while. I've been lazy when it comes to recording but I have been practising ... : )

  • Nice playing, nice tune, nice concertina, and nice tansu! From concertina playin' tansu makin' guy I love Billy Pigg's music.

  • That was beautifully played. Nice steady rhythm throughout and full of gentle feeling. You do yourself a disservice by saying you are 'still a novice'. More please!

  • Thanks, yes there will be more tunes by and by but I'm still a novice so the next one may be a while. The concertina is a 56 key tenor/treble but the lowest note in this piece is the E above middle C so it's well within the range of a 48 key treble.

  • love it what a player you are , any more in your locker ? what exactly is the concertina a tenor?
