  • Dr Marotta, thank you for making this video. It is very helpful.

  • Wow made me feel better almost instantly...thank u very much for the post

  • Since I haven't been able to cross my legs in about 10 years... makes this kinda moot.

  • not really a shooting pain but pain at the top of the hip in the back. There are 2 points at the top of the hip in the back. The left side and pain sometimes going down the very left side of the leg.

  • Thank you Dr. Marotta. A PT said I have SI joint dysfunction associated with sciatic - tingling and pain down to my toe. I can feel your exercise working the hamstrings. Feels much better. I am sitting at my computer to write this. Thanks for the vid. Cheers from the French West Indies.

  • Can SI joint pain also feel like a hernia?

  • @jamescaptainfarrell it feels like a sharp ache and random shooting nerve pains down the legs when it gets bad....or just stiffness in the area when it's not bad

  • Thanks for posting Dr M. Just discovered I have SI subluxation and have been in some pain. Revisited the chiropractor again after 2 years and he is now putting me right. Previously I had gone to the physio and all they did was treat the symptoms. Now looking at preventing the reoccurrence of pain - wellnesscare I believe it's called. Great information!

  • It's people like this that keep me going....I have suffered for over a year with low back pain...

  • goood

  • great video

  • I WAS SEARCHING some gud videos bout mulligan concept nd other wxercises..... thanks 2 you tube...

  • laughing my head off. I used to do this stretch all the time before going to sleep. I have not done it for months and now I know why my lower back is killing me. Thanks for posting this, I will get back on it and back to pain free. Reason for me is I was born with my feet pointed out. They braced me as a child which is probably why things don't sit right in the pelvic area. Take care.

  • I require SI joint fusion surgery.

Can anyone tell me a list of names of surgeons who perform the surgery in Australia? And if not the USA/Canada? It is very difficult to find in Australia but I will travel to America if necessary.

My spine mri is normal but I had a serious fall and severe pain around the si joint ever since, $45000 spent on all other treatments (inc chiro) over 8 years but little improvement. Can not sit down or lie down or do a host of other tasks.

  • @n4979338 Dr. Alan Lippet (sp) in Atlanta, GA. wrote many textbooks on his theories of the SI joint dysfunction, and has written text books for Ortho Surgeons as to his technique of SI joint fixation, not fusion.

  • where can I get a demo skeleton

  • Cheers man, this movement felt great for it. I sincerely appreciate this video post.

  • Great stretch... poor audio tho

  • FINALLY! after a slipping injury 2 weeks ago, my hip joint was locked and I saw a chiropractor last week for an adjustment. But yesterday it flet like it was back to being locked up! Been trying to 'pop' it all morning. But this strech helped me feel allot better! THANK YOU!

  • This is an awesome stretch! Really helped my low back pain. Thank you!
