  • Linda was a lovely lady and certainly does not deserve the nasty comments!

  • love this song... and just for the record; Linda was a lovely lady and certainly does not deserve the nasty comments

  • Do realize Linda is singing harmony? For the non-singing folk, harmony is different from melody and Linda is doing a pretty good job harmonizing...And anyway, at least you're not listening to Yoko Ono right now..If you want your ears to bleed go look up her music...Chick sounds like a deranged cat going through a blender...Eeesh...

  • Linda's singing is okay! c'mon!

  • While the Beatles version of this song seems to be in the key of A, is the Wings Over America version in the key of G? Even with Linda's vocals, I still like this version a bit better than the Beatles one.

  • I'm not a fan of auto tuning but Linda could have used it

  • As my wife said..a voice like chain mail.

  • i thought she done ok

  • @foal45

    Yeah me too

But people have some sort of sense of urgency of picking on Ex-Beatles wives for reasons unknown.

  • i think she waz great.

  • haha look how Paul is looking at Linda hahha he is saying "why the fuck did I ask you to sing with me?" haha

  • After the Beatles breakup, Paul very rarely sang anything from their catalog for almost three decades until into the late 1990s and early 2000s. This is one of those rare Beatles tunes which he did (in 1976) and I hope that Seattle audience realized how lucky they were.

  • @themredweirdoshow

I was there. We knew what we were seeing.

  • @Berthagertrude Really? Cool. Than maybe you're someone who could answer this old question that always bugged me: many accounts say that Yesterday was the first Beatles tune Paul sang many years after the breakup. (He's done many more since, of course.) But I disagreed with that, because in the back of my mind he did a different one. Do you know whish one that was, or did I just dream it up?

  • Danny Laine looks like the brother of Eric Idle...

  • @VIVAVISCONSIN ah ah nicely noticed!

  • She's not that bad. she's just singing the harmony.

  • Linda's singing is not that bad. Yoko's was much worse. I kinda like how she does the harmonies..

  • @erlina41 Linda never took herself for a fantastic artist, she just did what she could, whereas yok... the awful thinks she's a genious, though she can only make horrible noise.

  • Poor Linda- she tried so hard and was a wonderful wife to Paul- but her singing didnt get better until much later after practice. Just like Yoko- perfect wife for John but terrible singer

  • Who cares if Linda was off-key? Paul loved her, and she was a great lady. That's all that matters

  • @deb90566 Could not agree more Deb. Rock Stars have a reputation of treating their wives apallingly. Paul showed the whole selfish lot of them how it should be done.

  • @deb90566 but if you are in a stage you have to do something good

  • Paul Rarely plays that song now

  • Linda sings worse than bad! it is the worst i've ever heard!

  • She is HORRIBLE can't sing in tune. I know i am tune deaf and i would never sing on stage. Listen to her on Hey Jude you will wretch

  • Now you has heard skiffle.

    And Paul loved that woman.

  • @soaringvulture just cause you love someone does that make you tone deaf? Lots of people cannot take her singing and were forced to listen to it.

  • MOST TALENTED MAN ON EARTH

  • @jba2323 when Stevie Wonder isnt around anymore

  • No, I think her singing fits into the song. Because Country voices of women are good when they're hard and she has such a voice.

But you're right when you say she sings not always in key.

  • Yikes with that hair Paul...

  • I think Paul rocked that mullet pretty good! To me, it was the terrible country music mullets a decade later that were ridiculous. Just my opinion..

  • wtf...good?!?

  • she's good in this song

  • shes way outta tune and her tone is just kinda wack

  • watch "bluebird" from this show that jacenty841 uploaded and you'll see why i'm saying she's good in this one

  • denny is a little more out of tune actually

  • fuck off ....

  • Wow, it's cool to see PM&Wings doing Beatles stuff - and so soon after the breakup. I thought the Beatles songs would have left a bad taste in his mouth.

  • I agree that Paul looks a wee bit stoned here. :-) Hey, the guy likes his weed. No worries.

  • Teresa, what's "STUPID" about your post is that you claiming to KNOW the Beatles kids. What about this don't you get?

  • paul's not high in the slightest. after the show, sure.

  • What an incredible stupid thing to say Teresa. Well done. Who in your opinion is the best Beatles KID? This should be good. :-)

  • dhani harrison. and sean lennon. it's a tie. why is it stupid? linda was a saint.

  • Macca's baked out of his mind

  • I was at this concert. Drove my sister and her friend from Portland Oregon to see it. It set the record for the largest indoor attended concert in history with 70,000 fans. I took many photos with telephoto lens and 35mm high speed transparency film. It is interesting to see these motion films now 33 years later and recognize much of it. Thanks for posting this.

  • linda is forever the best beatle wife.

  • but she is off key. RIP Linda, you made Paul happy and that says a lot about you.

  • GREATEST TALENT EVER BORN

  • you know, Linda got criticized alot , butt i think she harmonized very well with Paul on this ! waaay better than yoko. but then again, anyone would be better than oh no yoko !! haha

  • Amo a paul mcCartney y claroa todos los beatles mi sueño es casar me con paul mcCarney o ringo starr

  • you shut up, would you have wanted that gold digger mills sitting next to him there? RIP Linda. Miss Ya.

  • God Linda, shut up.

  • A fun version of a fun song from a fun time!

  • I was there. Waited all night to buy a ticket at the Southcenter Bon Marche, and waited all night before the concert to be able to be down front.

One of the few concerts that sounde good in that echo chamber they called the Kingdome.

  • POWER MULLET!

  • Goobin out you have a terrible attitude. Me personaly i don't judge people hey look who her husband is

  • Where didyou get these great videos? I would love to get them! This was my first (of many) Paul concerts, in Largo, Maryland! I had waited since I was 11 in 1964 to see him! I had been thinking of this song on that day and couldn't believe when he played it! I remember general admission tickets were a fortune - $25! All MyLovin', Paulie! Thanks for sharing these videos!

  • Like you, I'm a big fan from Maryland. First saw Paul and Wings at the Capital Center in 1976. I remember we had to get vouchers and then get tickets at the Cap center. Was an all day affair. Was a fun day.

  • I was there too. Great time. Sat up high but did not mind it was great.

  • What do you call a dog with wings?

  • Linda McCartney

  • The song wins a lot thanks to Denny!

  • Linda's "singing", or more like lack thereof, is the reason I never was a Wings fan.

  • Linda was a great photographer.

  • yeah and that's all she'll ever be known for.

And where are these photos anyway cos I doubt anyone has seen one.

  • I was there at this concert in Seattle! Great concert!

  • wow she cant even sing in key...

  • @Blutarsky90 ur wrong, she's just singing the second voice.

  • @Blutarsky90 she's better than yoko.......

  • yeah! just like yoko ono!

  • She fucin ruins the whole fuckin song im sorry. why is she there!!!

  • Linda's singing is awful!

  • Denny makes the harmony in this song...he is great!

  • linda's harmony is al little off but thats ok because they're all having so much fun it looks like. Thats why I love live music because it has little mistakes but nobody cares because they're just so into the beat and the music!!! and WINGS ROCKS!!!!!!! I was born almost two decades later than they were around, but I still LOVE EM!!!!!!!

  • Brings back fond memories of Linda I'm sure!!

  • he is the best ever and always...x love you paul- keep that music train rolling...xxx love the pickles lady xxxoxoxoox
