nice vid. Most claims of prophecy are pretty much wishful thinking. Yanking passages out of context, etc. but how is Shawn's 'macrocodes" different from what has been said b4 by most Christians throughout the ages? It seems to be a total rehash.
God loved Adam and Eve so much that he put a timebomb within their reach, allowed Satan (or a very cunning snake) to tempt them while looking on the whole time and not doing anything, cursed them for doing the inevitable and gave them hardships, pain in childbirth and death, kicked them out of the paradise but..... "Here's some animal skins to wear. I love you two! Good luck!"
The "god making clothes for them" parallel to god covering our sins w/jesus is OLDER than Shawn! hahah he did not come up with it. That's a standard view by MANY Christians. It's explicitly stated in a song by Wayne Watson called "The Sacrifice" which I remember from my Christian days (or daze). It uses that same idea. God made a covering for man in genesis and another kind of covering in the NT. It's just midrash and pesher of Matthew's ilk continued.
Preachers have pulled Christ Jesus out of the OT in many-many diff forms. He is (Shawn vnmfngX) simply teaching the Word of God, which is all CHRISTIAN'S RESPONSIBILITY. Let us alone!!! Satan, get behind us!!!
Thank you Shawn. Your reward will be realized in the Kingdom of God. Everything that you said was correct and brilliant.
@mjone219 So, ripping off another religion and lying about it's sacred texts's contexts is something to be admired and encouraged? So, just like Sean said, one must be deceitful (like Jacob) to garnish God's favor and reap his rewards? Funny religion, that.
Over 33K diff. Xian denominations & interpretations, and VFX makes one more...but u think he's correct?? He doesn't even know the history & origin of his religion. Do u think he knows that Judaism was polytheistic until about the 7th century? (that's game over right there)! U think he knows how the bible books were really constructed, who actually wrote any of the books?
@mjone219 Oh, I have other things to do, too. In fact, just spent the last few hours playing Star Wars TOR. Now I'm going to have dinner and spend the evening with my kids. But, I also enjoy laying bare religious fraud, deception and falsehoods. What do you like to do?
1:God made Adam first, told him not to eat of the tree, “/then/” made Eve...2:God told Adam, because you listened to the voice of your wife, notice that God did “/not/” say to Eve, because you did “/not/” listen to your husband...3: God used the word “/curse/” to what the Serpent and Adam did in the garden, but “/not/” to what Eve did in the garden, reply?
John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Luke 24:44-45 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
What about "Ye shall know them by their fruits" and "faith without works is dead"?
Jesus also said 'blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed" and paul said "all have seen the 'invisible things' and are without excuse"
Why is it that 'conservative christians' always cite Paul over everyone else, especially Jesus? When ever there is a conflict Paul wins out. Why not just call them selves Paulinites or some such thing?
How is it that VFX can talk about meek virtues all while sounding smug and self righteous? I almost wonder if when he uses the word god he is talking about himself or perhaps a subordinate that he nurtured and groomed into exactly the god he wants him to be.
It's great to see you pumping out vids again, Brett. Your stuff is great as always. VFX is an easy target but still an entertaining one, and as you say, a lot of people actually listen to this fraud. He's also one of these guys who calls himself a "former atheist" and I recently saw him tell his conversion story on an old episode of the Magic Sandwich Show. It's pretty hilarious.
And the christians wonder why there are 30 some thousand denominations. They treat the bible like their own creation, making up shit that fits their delusion.
Remember The Bible Code TV series on the "History" channel? They used algorithms to find predicitions AFTER the event had occured. Trouble is you can do the same with Moby Dick and any other book of similar size. Might be what is going on here
@Ragedguy69 Adam and Eve had like hundreds of kids who all had incestuous sex with one another. Also the Bible claims that Adam Eve and their offspring lived for like 900 years. So if we just fucked our sisters we'd live a lot longer than silly medical science boasts. Its basic Bible science.
@Ragedguy69 Only men were described. There were sisters, maybe more than two. At the same time, only by a young-earth creation its possible to have the quantity of people we have today on earth. If humans had thousands of years we would be billions more and we would have no space or conditions to everybody. Make your calculations
@Ragedguy69 Oh but do you think that in thousands of years we would be only 7 billion? Do the calculations, I bet you will have a lot of zeros. And even if with all those zeros we could live in a square meter, we are not all those zeros, but much much less.
@Fantasticlist " Make your calculations" You mean the Pendleton method? Population growth is dependent on the carrying capacity of the environment, not maximum reproduction capability, a population will be held stable when the carrying capacity is reached. I'd suggest you look up the statistics and not follow Pendleton who picks numbers to reach his preconceived conclusion.
@DodoPandemic I was talking about growth rates. That are underestimated by evolution. Even with wars and plagues the the growth would be much greater. That and the lack of human remains dont fit in the human age purposed by evolution.
You need to look to the growth rate per year. Our actual is 1,7%. If we were here for a million years, with a small growth of 0.01%, we would be 10^43 ! Now reduce there all the wars, diseases, etc, look for the remains and see that we are still few.
@Fantasticlist "You need to look to the growth rate per year." No you don't, it's not a steady 1.7% every year. If you exceed the carrying capacity then that will result in more deaths due to famine or whatever is lacking. You cannot just take that rate and apply it to all the years in history, due to our technological advancements made after the industrial revolution, before that, the rate was less, during medieval times it even declined compared to the Roman times. Calculate it correctly.
@Fantasticlist Secondly we haven't been here for millions of years as well, it's about 200.000 years, and war and plagues aren't what keeps a population in check, it's simple lack of resources means less offspring due to higher child mortality, less births etc, like I said look up the statistics and graphs relating to this.
Lack of human remains? Living things decompose when they die! if they didn't we'd be up to our necks in bones, not everything gets fossilized, it's pretty rare.
@DodoPandemic Well you are referring to the supposed modern Homo sapiens. But I was talking about the beginning of the Homo sapiens arcaic (supposedly at 800thousand years).
People in Africa have higher growth rates than people in First World countries. Do you think that lack of resources is what matters? Their lack of resources make them die a lot; yet they have higher growth rates.
Even with decomposition you should have much more remains than you do.
@Fantasticlist 'make them die alot' Yes that's the point, you can't count those that die towards the population total now can you so yeah that is exactly what lack of resources does, again higher reproduction rate is not growth when those children die of famine, also the third world is catching up with technology, thus higher growth rate.
"Even with decomposition you should have much more remains than you do." Baseless claim, why should we have more then we have now?
@DodoPandemic You didnt understand. African people die a lot but they still grow much more than First World countries. The lack of resources and deaths are not enough - they are still who grow the most.
"why should we have more then we have now?" Because everybody has a 206 bones skeleton and we have not enough bones on earth to fit in the time scale evolution purposes. Clear?
Hs Arcaic - 800. Includes H. antecessor - 780. Check your sources (wikipedia is wrong)
@Fantasticlist You're right on HS Arcaic, apologies. Again Africa's population growth has increased only in the last 40 years. However this does not change the fact that populations cannot exceed carrying capacities of the environment. The number of bones in a human does not validate your assumption that there should be more remains, it's still a baseless claim, clear? I'm done with this, since you seem to just repeat these assertions, which do not support a young earth in any way and are wrong
@DodoPandemic Until now you were the one stating wrong claims. I gave you the numbers and the logic around this. If you still think we are in normal numbers for a specie with thousands of years and that the remains are the normal according to all that time, its with you. They're not assumptions, I gave u numbers. Africa has no conditions and they grow, its pretty clear. Anyway, think what you want, Im founded in this claim. The number of bones was writing style lol
Even if VFX was right, it would still be nothing more than one fairy tale supporting another. No different then humpty dumpty mentioning the three little pigs.
Also, these people, much like conspiracy theory nutjobs, only see what they want to see. Anything can fit in their patterns and delusional world views and anything contrary is irrelevant or absorbed into the plot as part of the "enemy's" strategy. People like VFX are hopeless. To say the kind of crap he says means he's either gone totally insane and is beyond the reach of reason, or he knows it's BS and is just trying to score a few bucks off gullible idiots, which are in vast supply.
People like VFX are toxic to society. He and his ilk preach their bullshit then block out any dissidence in comments and take votes down so people who look at it think it's a massively well received video with no negative criticism whatsoever, and in the age of information, ignorance, censorship and superstition still manage to shackle the minds of Man.
I just watched Jesus In Genesis: A Study of Macrocodes. There is a prophecy regarding Jesus in Genesis. It wasn't mentioned in this video, unless I missed it. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Take care
Shaun doesn't believe what he says, so why should we? He is merely parroting some website he has plagiarised in an effort to obtain what Shaun really wants, Mammon!
Wonderful response Brett, I remember hearing this line of reasoning as a kid and promoting promoting it as a Christian adult. I recently reread the Cain and Abel story when having a conversation with my Father (a preacher) and noticed that the lamb vs plant emphasis that I was always told was there, was fabricated through interpretive license. Was shocked to realize this common dogma simply isn't in the text.
Have you checked out stigmatibus, this guy is an idiot. He needs someone that is more talented than me to rebuke him.I do not make video's because I am not good at speaking.I left a comment and this guy replies by saying he is not going to waste his time with Trolls.
you have not proved any where that any of his asumptions are wrong the do seem weak when not looked at in context with a good scritual base and there are many many more examples of jesus christ in the old testament and of the sacrifices of the old testament in the tabernackle and temple many are for sin how ever these do not remove sin they only point to Jesus christ who would be punished in our place for our sins who is the perfect sacrifice and the only sacrifice able to clense form sins
@pythman Either you didn't look at the video, or you looked at it and didn't understand it or you just ignored all his points. He more than adequately proved his points. Stop being a blind sheep.
The idea that Jesus died for our sins is just plain stupid.
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
i watched the whole video through although his points were good he clearly hasnt studyed the sacrifices because if he had he would know that many sacrifices were for sin
@zowxon My videos aim to counter the apologetics, not merely the apologist. Many people watch VFX's videos and agree with him. VFX didn't invent macrocodes; he picked up the idea from Chuck Missler who has a much broader audience. My video looks to bury this idea so that no matter what apologist uses it, the idea of macrocodes will have been destroyed here.
Jeebus freaks make me laugh. Mental illness in disguise. Chill out and have a fricking beer nut job. No need to debunk anything. If an all powerful god can't even write his own instruction manual without the ambiguity then it'd not worthy of being a fucking god. Childish brain washed shite. Feck me why do I watch this shit?
Happy Christmas and have a rational and reasoned New Year!
Fantastic work as always... a very nice thing to wake up to on this Chris-mas day :) Congrats on your 100th video as well...looking forward to the 100 and the 100 after that...peace be with and happy holidays to you and yours.
If I were the mythical Adam I would have taken a fruit from both the tree of life and of knowledge of good and evil, mashed them up and made apple sauce and eaten that just to see what would happen. In a similar manner of an xkcd comic (Titled: Matrix Revisited) where the blue and red pill and crushed, mixed together, and snorted.
This is what the lauded macrocodes are?! I've stumbled upon the term in apologist writings, but couldn't find an explanation for the term. I got the mistaken idea it was bibliomancy like Bible codes. Instead it's just warping verses of the OT to fit the NT? That's almost exactly what the writers of the NT did to begin with!
BTW anyone interested in mythology, read about the sacrifice of Tammuz and Ugaritic texts (Danel etc) that offer an explanation for where the Cain and Abel myth came from.
This is rather far-fetched, I'd say. But at least Sean has learned to make up his own nonsense instead of simply repeating Kent Hovind and Banana-Ray.
Apparently Shawn does not realize how desperate this astounding example of the art of clutching at straws makes his apologetics look. I suppose it's impossible for the madman to recognize his own lunacy. Impeccable video as usual, Brett, and best wishes for the holiday season to you and yours.
The kid is clearly off his head and in some ways not worth answering. However in other ways, Joseph Smith for instance was even crazier than VFX and less credible and look at the damage he did. I think ShaunTheSheep is trying to possibly start his own cult or church like Southern Evangelists do, but since he lacks the personality or inclination to go on tour and achieve it he has to stick to YT where he can be shot down in flames. A very dangerous kid, his one.
@archeng123 you are just regurgitating something you heard on the pulpit. Someone "reading into" the text. Please prove your statement. No where does it say that the serpent is satan nor that enmity is Jesus. You are just proving the narrative of this video about VFX and apologists. Text taken out of context is pretext.
I've heard people talk about these "hidden codes" in the Bible before. It's bizarre really. The message contained in the Bible isn't obscure and convoluted enough, now we are to believe that an all-powerful Creator, attempting to communicate with his children not only inspired abstruse, ambiguous and contradictory messages in its text but also hid an even more incomprehensible message besides. Is there no end to which these silly and dishonest charlatans will go to try to prove this silliness.
@lamnaa Agreed. If such a being existed it would be our moral duty to apply every available resource towards eliminating him or bringing him to justice. He would be the greatest threat to humanity and the universe that ever existed. If he lived next door to you, you would walk over and shoot him.
if i could be bothered, i could twist the bible to tell the preists and pastors that salvation is through kissing my arse. ironically, a few off them would probably enjoy that too much.
I wonder if Shawn has read A History of God or The Bible With Sources Revealed or has ever taken a history class focusing on Mesopotamia or the roman empire etc. It seems he is either oblivious to the fact that there are:
a) entire university programs to examine ancient documents and sites and
b) there are scholars with decades of experience and research who write books and teach and could actually TEACH him something about how the bible was put together, what it means etc.
Why did god put such trees there in the first place? A magical tree which mysteriously endows a human with the knowledge that having sex, which they had innocently been doing before, was actually a bit dirty, & seeing their bits was rather disgusting.
How would that work? What was gods plan for the trees? Why not put them on an island surrounded by boiling water if god didn't want them touched?
Spmebody should use the same technique VFX uses in order to scientifically prove that the Bible is but an extension of the Necronomicon and foreshadows the arrival of Cthulhu and the old ones. And I bet he would't even have to twist the text in order to make it work...
God doesn't like when you don't kill for him that why he didn't accept Cain's sacrifice? Why did God kill everyone save 8 ppl on a arc ONLY to repopulate the world with more sinner what was the point...wouldn't it have made more sense to get it right the first time? And save risking sending billion of other humans to hell because you know they will fail anyway?
Shawn's going to go out into the world and become a snivelling second-rate conman with a bronze age book despite all the opportunities he has been given, I just know it...
1. The Cain & Abel fable reflects the perennial conflict between herder & farmer in the OT: skins vs leaves; unfettered nomads vs fence-builders; the hospitable tent-dwelling Abraham vs the suspicious city-dwelling men of S & G; the celibate Yahweh vs shameless fertility gods & their whoring mates.
Adam was CURSED to till the land.
2. Vfx skips right over Yahweh's question upon "discovering" his duo covered in leaves: Who told you that you were naked? Who indeed was there?
@232fred78 Careful! I just picked up SWTOR today and have spent the afternoon working with the Jedi Council! Cripes, between that and Skyrim, you'll understand delays in getting new vids up! :)
All that happened is this kid looked at himself in the mirror a few years ago and said "Hey, I look and sound kinda like Kirk Cameron. There's no reason I can't do what he's doing. Beats having to work for a living."
Besides that whole "worshipping/asskissing for eternity thing" It's the idea that I would have to hang around assholes like Shawn in heaven that turns me off so much about it.
oh shit really??...this confirms my belief that shaun is going to be hella hella rich. his line of bullshit will line his pockets well into his old age. Between ourselves, I remain to be convinced he is any more than a cynical unbeliever who has spotted an opening for HUGE profit, but shhh don't tell anyone:)
one thing i have never understood about any of the codes in the bible is how did they stay within the verbal retelling when they were just story's around the camp fire until they were written down. after all the writings that have been found tend to have a number of differences showing each teller changed the story slightly, the story would stay the same but any code would be lost as words were changed, and why are they not in the older church's dogma they have had the book for longer
VFX sounds like someone who just learned in his Theology class some brand new apologetics, and wants to show it off. The skeptics have no response yet, because they've never even heard of the argument! But there is an inherent problem with using brand new apologetics: they're untested, and haven't been hardened against skeptical inquiry yet. It's amazing that people think these things are amazing and unanswerable... at least I know my arguments for skepticism are not my own.
@jimmyjazz240 They're not. Shawn's family has spoken out a few times on You Tube, and they have said they're very sad that he's been brainwashed by Kent Hovind.
In any other aspect of our lives, this would never fly as evidence of anything. If our doctors' medical books were as reliable as the Bible, we would likely opt to stay home and be sick. Religion should be held to the same blunt standards of criticism as any other part of reality.
If we were created in gods image, and god is a perfect being(which we all know from the bible he isn't)...why do we need clothes?...really, why someone would ever think the bible teaches any real values at all is beyond me.
So... if god was already planning on sacrificing himself to appease himself... what took him so long? By biblical literalist standards it took him 4000 years. Was he okay just letting mankind sin and go to hell for 4000 years? What was the point of all those Mosiac laws if he had always intended to make 'works' meaningless?
Oh Yahweh. He's such a bumbling little god. If a sitcom was made about the trinity, God the Father would be the bumbling (And accidentally genocidal) dad.
@brettppalmer To his credit though, you can't be an expert in either of those and still be a fundie creationist. He is doing the "right" thing by keeping himself oblivious to both the bible and science in order to maintain his faith in the inerrant, infallible, perfect, word of god, and the one true path of Christianity.
In the Norse Poetic Edda, the poem "Völuspá" talks about Fenrir the wolf blacking out the sun, consuming the gods and starting massive storms. These cataclysmic events will turn humanity into a free-for-all has everyone kills each other for what little resources remain. Clearly this is talking about global climate change, which a Norseman from the 12th century would not know, so it must have been divinely inspired... All Hail Odin!
another superb video debunking these apologetic tactics... I don't know where you get the patience to do these, every I hear one of those arguments from apologists all I can do is roll my eyes, not that I can't debunk the argument on my own but because these arguments are so ridiculous I don't even feel like responding to....
It's is fair to point out that many church ministers oppose this kind of interpretations & decodings. I saw one on the history channel saying that "if you torture the bible long enough, you can get it to say whatever you want" & it's also an excellent way to identify who is into Jesus and who uses Jesus for Mass Control.
Part of the problem with Christianity is that they distort the Testament in such a way as to make people believe that Yeshua was the sole purpose of creation. That God knew beforehand that Adam and Eve would sin, then mankind because of their sin would need a saviour and that it would be Yeshua. I don't see the logical reason why this is a linear logic, this is one of the reasons that I left the church and became an atheist/agnostic. Nothing could be further from the truth than Christianity.
@journeyer58 allso the idea of jesus goes against the what god said to abraham that he nither needs or wants sacriface. jesus is like kim jong li. his followers have build personality cult around him. but kim jon li atleast existed, but i dont think jesus ever existed.
Another point regarding Abel's offering: There was no sacrifice, just an offering. As far as the text is concerned, that firstling was alive. Regarding Noah's offering after the flood: It is a clear appeasement of the lord, who is assuaged and repents the destruction he caused. This practice had been going on for centuries in efforts to calm the gods and curry favor.
This argument is so ambiguous and arbitrary that literally ANY Old Testament passage could foreshadow the mythology of Jesus. Here, let me play:
In the OT, the Israelites conquer many lands and peoples. Clearly, this is a metaphor for Jesus, who, after his death and resurrection, conquers sin, death, and Satan.
It's so asinine, and apologists know it is. Yet, they'll spout this nonsense to their flock with glee, because they know the believer--i.e., the gullible--is a sucker for such a trick.
No they don't! I grew up surrounded by it, and still maintain a friendship with some of these people, and as ridiculous as this seems to someone like you or I, they absolutely believe anything positive about Christianity.
I have seen it time and time again, and still find it astonishing. No matter how ridiculous the claim, if it puts the bible in a positive light, its absolutely true!
@CalebAlucardtheHagan And why stop at Jesus? This technique can be used to prove parallels between any concepts from any two randomly chosen texts! Shakespeare knew that movies would be invented because Romeo & Juliet and Titanic both involved romantic love! The Babylonians foresaw modern chemistry because the Enuma Elish mentions waters being mingled together! Oh VFX, you really are an amusing creature.
@CalebAlucardtheHagan Perfectly stated! I've never heard these called macrocodes before, but I've read about many of them. This is nothing more than hunting and pecking AFTERWARDS. These so-called foreshadows could have foreshadowed almost anything from an interpretational standpoint, but they weren't actually predictive of anything certain, which questions whether they were predictive at all.
I would love to hear his take on the ark..that would mean he would have to drop all his ideas that it was a literal event. If its a metaphorical story that is.I'm sure he'll find a way to make it both or none or whatever he thinks it should mean, and not what it does mean.
Can you look into the Bible codes? It's something that really helped convince me when I was Christian. Some of it I can understand easily how it's fake, but some of it really impressed me and I'd love to see a good debunking. Main claim was that there are far more lengthy codes in the Bible than in any other book that's been tested.
@ScissorHand26 Shane Killian did a video series debunking Bible codes. watch?v=LaLRHJgU1B4 In short, when you define your own rules for finding patterns, you can discover codes in anything.
Ah apologetics, the spurious practice of claiming that "holy" texts don't say what they do, and actually say what is not written in them. Keep the mental gymnastics folks, a pretzel would be ashamed to see how much you can twist yourselves, and people of reason will continue to point out you're just chasing your tails.
Macro codes. I've never any Christian apologist use that term before. I was taught in the old days that the O.T. and the many stories there were like a foreshadowing or 'types' of Christ or prophesy thereof. My KJThompson Chain reference would be a gold mine for you Bett! ..excellent video btw.
I could prove that homosexuality is okay with Yahweh in the Bible if I wanted to. I could even use the verses the homophobic Xians use. You can read whatever you wish into the Bible.
nice vid. Most claims of prophecy are pretty much wishful thinking. Yanking passages out of context, etc. but how is Shawn's 'macrocodes" different from what has been said b4 by most Christians throughout the ages? It seems to be a total rehash.

Farf420 1 month ago
@Ragedguy69 They were motherfuckers....in both the literal and colloquial sense of the word.
nooneleavesterminus 1 month ago
@Ragedguy69 Only men were described. There were sisters, maybe more than two. At the same time, only by a young-earth creation its possible to have the quantity of people we have today on earth. If humans had thousands of years we would be billions more and we would have no space or conditions to everybody. Make your calculations
Fantasticlist 1 month ago
@Fantasticlist Actually, you can fit 7 billion people in the city of Los Angeles shoulder to shoulder, so we don't take much space as you think.
Ragedguy69 1 month ago
@Ragedguy69 Oh but do you think that in thousands of years we would be only 7 billion? Do the calculations, I bet you will have a lot of zeros. And even if with all those zeros we could live in a square meter, we are not all those zeros, but much much less.
Fantasticlist 1 month ago
@Fantasticlist " Make your calculations" You mean the Pendleton method? Population growth is dependent on the carrying capacity of the environment, not maximum reproduction capability, a population will be held stable when the carrying capacity is reached. I'd suggest you look up the statistics and not follow Pendleton who picks numbers to reach his preconceived conclusion.
DodoPandemic 1 month ago
@DodoPandemic I was talking about growth rates. That are underestimated by evolution. Even with wars and plagues the the growth would be much greater. That and the lack of human remains dont fit in the human age purposed by evolution.
You need to look to the growth rate per year. Our actual is 1,7%. If we were here for a million years, with a small growth of 0.01%, we would be 10^43 ! Now reduce there all the wars, diseases, etc, look for the remains and see that we are still few.
Fantasticlist 1 month ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@Fantasticlist "You need to look to the growth rate per year." No you don't, it's not a steady 1.7% every year.
DodoPandemic 1 month ago
@Fantasticlist Secondly we haven't been here for millions of years as well, it's about 200.000 years, and war and plagues aren't what keeps a population in check, it's simple lack of resources means less offspring due to higher child mortality, less births etc, like I said look up the statistics and graphs relating to this.
Lack of human remains? Living things decompose when they die! if they didn't we'd be up to our necks in bones, not everything gets fossilized, it's pretty rare.
DodoPandemic 1 month ago
@DodoPandemic Well you are referring to the supposed modern Homo sapiens. But I was talking about the beginning of the Homo sapiens arcaic (supposedly at 800thousand years).
People in Africa have higher growth rates than people in First World countries. Do you think that lack of resources is what matters? Their lack of resources make them die a lot; yet they have higher growth rates.
Even with decomposition you should have much more remains than you do.
Fantasticlist 1 month ago
@Fantasticlist 'make them die alot' Yes that's the point, you can't count those that die towards the population total now can you so yeah that is exactly what lack of resources does, again higher reproduction rate is not growth when those children die of famine, also the third world is catching up with technology, thus higher growth rate.
"Even with decomposition you should have much more remains than you do." Baseless claim, why should we have more then we have now?
DodoPandemic 1 month ago
@DodoPandemic You didnt understand. African people die a lot but they still grow much more than First World countries. The lack of resources and deaths are not enough - they are still who grow the most.
"why should we have more then we have now?" Because everybody has a 206 bones skeleton and we have not enough bones on earth to fit in the time scale evolution purposes. Clear?
Hs Arcaic - 800. Includes H. antecessor - 780. Check your sources (wikipedia is wrong)
Fantasticlist 1 month ago
@Fantasticlist You're right on HS Arcaic, apologies. Again Africa's population growth has increased only in the last 40 years. However this does not change the fact that populations cannot exceed carrying capacities of the environment. The number of bones in a human does not validate your assumption that there should be more remains, it's still a baseless claim, clear? I'm done with this, since you seem to just repeat these assertions, which do not support a young earth in any way and are wrong
DodoPandemic 1 month ago
@DodoPandemic Until now you were the one stating wrong claims. I gave you the numbers and the logic around this. If you still think we are in normal numbers for a specie with thousands of years and that the remains are the normal according to all that time, its with you. They're not assumptions, I gave u numbers. Africa has no conditions and they grow, its pretty clear. Anyway, think what you want, Im founded in this claim. The number of bones was writing style lol

@Fantasticlist And again you're off by 300.000 years if you did mean Archaic Homo Sapiens.

@zowxon My videos aim to counter the apologetics, not merely the apologist. Many people watch VFX's videos and agree with him.

I've heard people talk about these "hidden codes" in the Bible before. It's bizarre really. The message contained in the Bible isn't obscure and convoluted enough, now we are to believe that an all-powerful Creator, attempting to communicate with his children not only inspired abstruse, ambiguous and contradictory messages in its text but also hid an even more incomprehensible message besides. one thing i have never understood about any of the codes in the bible is how did they stay within the verbal retelling when they were just story's around the camp fire until they were written down. after all the writings that have been found tend to have a number of differences showing each teller changed the story slightly, the story would stay the same but any code would be lost as words were changed, and why are they not in the older church's dogma they have had the book for longer

In the Norse Poetic Edda, the poem "Völuspá" talks about Fenrir the wolf blacking out the sun, consuming the gods and starting massive storms. It's is fair to point out that many church ministers oppose this kind of interpretations & decodings. jrev37 2 months ago

Another point regarding Abel's offering: There was no sacrifice, just an offering. As far as the text is concerned, that firstling was alive. Regarding Noah's offering after the flood: It is a clear appeasement of the lord, who is assuaged and repents the destruction he caused. This practice had been going on for centuries in efforts to calm the gods and curry favor.
fdasherv 2 months ago
This argument is so ambiguous and arbitrary that literally ANY Old Testament passage could foreshadow the mythology of Jesus. Here, let me play:
In the OT, the Israelites conquer many lands and peoples. Clearly, this is a metaphor for Jesus, who, after his death and resurrection, conquers sin, death, and Satan.
It's so asinine, and apologists know it is. Yet, they'll spout this nonsense to their flock with glee, because they know the believer--i.e., the gullible--is a sucker for such a trick.
CalebAlucardtheHagan 2 months ago 28
@CalebAlucardtheHagan "It's so asinine, and apologists know it is."
Craigmw45 2 months ago
@CalebAlucardtheHagan And why stop at Jesus? This technique can be used to prove parallels between any concepts from any two randomly chosen texts! @CalebAlucardtheHagan Perfectly stated! I've never heard these called macrocodes before, but I've read about many of them. This is nothing more than hunting and pecking AFTERWARDS. If VenomFangX wanted to cover his nakedness...he could certainly do better than some crusty Old Navy Knock-Off T-shirt.
