You can see why this wasn't on In Utero, wouldn't have fit the mood. The fourth Nirvana album would've probably had songs like Do Re Mi on it etc, probably would've been on that one. Shame it never happened.

@Astbruchgefahr ... But that is what the band was about. Being unorthodox. In Utero is a break from pop and is dirty and heavy. And then there is "Dumb". And "All Apologies". I think this song would have fit in nicely! It is in my top-5 nirvana tunes of all time, easily.

I have been listening to them since about 1991 and still find the music relevant today. I am not going to bash today's music, I just enjoy nirvana and Primus and Megadeth more, LOL.

@poulxeriotatos well Cobain wrote two songs with other artists in mind, talk to me and opinion. After his death Love gave the two songs, "talk to me" to Iggy and "Opinion" to Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees. Screaming Trees actually recorded the song but did not release it it cause it was pretty soon after Cobain's death. Iggy on the other hand never perfomed "talk to me", not sure why. I don't remember where I got this info, but i'm sure that if you google it you'll find something :)

This is not a cover, this is an original song written by Kurt Cobain. He wrote this in 1990. Not only can this be found on the Lights Out Box Set, but it also can be found on Outcesticide (not Incesticide) and that's the best version I have ever heard. In February of 1994 Pat Smear confirmed that Kurt was thinking about putting this on the next Nirvana record and they exchanged ideas but then everything went downhill from that point on obviously. This is one of my favs. Really good song.
