  • WOW, I'd not seen Glen and Chris AND Paul freakin' Carrack together since the early 80's. Was there a tour with these guys together in the early 80s? With the other guys like Lavin, Holland..? If so, I missed one of my "dying to see" bands, with full lineup, or very close....Thank you very, very much for posting, and Great Performance!

  • At first I thought I was at Wal Mart but this is really the band Squeeze. Really great!

  • That Carrack boy can sure sell a tune. And what a tune!

  • How young they were :-) This is about a month after I *first* laid eyes on them at a record store in Atlanta. Paul didn't sing at the record store - he hid in the back and came out when it was time to get autographed CD's... and I cried. ;-)

  • Great posting, tboynes!

  • WOW. I must admit I did think who the fuck is this when Paul Carrack stepped up to the mike. What a superb band in all their forms. Criminally underrated.

  • That "singer" is Paul Carrack. He sang this hit for Squeeze. He also sang How Long by Ace and, much later, In the Living years with Mike and the Mechanics. One of the great r&B singers of any generation.

  • In fairness, this isn't bad at all. In fact it's an undiscovered gem, Perhaps the singer should dump the cap and sad beard but bloody hell, what a voice!

  • @Ystadcop Undiscovered? You clearly have no idea who this guy is.. But i wouldve had said the same thing if i didnt know him.. he looks like a truckdriver in this video haha.. actually the whole band look like truck drivers.
