Its probably not in tune. Usually new guitars should be in tune when you first buy them, But new guitars go out of tune quite quick when they are new... Buy a tuner, or look on google for a tuning website. I am learning to play this song and it is quite a tricky thing to play when your new at the whole thing or if you have small hands.. but just keep practicing and you will get it just right :D
