Yea i should stick with cbr specially now that the new ones have ABS and HESD makes riding even better. I mainly care reliability and you cant beat a honda. Thanks for all your help guys.

Ok I love both bikes but which would you guys say is a better bike im looking for reliability and suspension i dont really care too much for power a 600 is enough for me. Honda of course are know for reliability ive seen f4i's with 50,000 and still strong. And triumphs are a power-house but ive never seen too many guys with triumphs. Is it because they are more high maintenance or expensive since thats one reason i stay away from ducati's. I only ask because its time to upgrade from my ninja :)

Triumphs sit higher than the rest of the bikes, and have a much more forward, aggressive riding position. You lean further forward so you will feel more bumps in the road. I think  the stick price on the Honda is higher than the Triumph, or at least it was in '08. I don't know exactly why Triumphs are rare, but I am glad of it. I have never sat at a red light and had another Triumph pull up beside me. In a sea of Japanese bikes it really sticks out, or at least I feel that it does.

See i know all bikes sit high for me im short im 5'7 haha. Im just curious how many miles do you have on your 675 cuz i drive mine quite alot i put 15000 this year and so far my bike is really comfortable for long rides. The maintenance is my issue cuz my friend had a Ducati Monster and boy was it really a monster cuz it was in the shop so much that he decided to sell it. Now my friends honda has 45000 and its been abused and still going. I think the 675 is a beauty but wonder the maintenance ??

I have nearly 9k on my Triumph and I've had it nearly 1 year. I did the initial break in maintenance myself but paid for the 6k service. That was about 200 dollars. Other than that I've only bought a new set of tires. Triumphs have an excellent warranty, 3 years, unlimited miles, if i recall correctly.

its 2 years unlimited miles, triumph has more torque in low gears, doesnt need to be reved high like the cbr. it does sit higher but im 5.8 and i touch perfectly fine you do lean forward more

Thats not the Intake its the Alternator. Its gear driven and runs @ a 4 to 1 ratio off the output shaft. the whistle comes from the gears....

i have a d675... and ill just say that.. i tried out many different bikes including.. yamaha, honda, suzuki, and a kawi. When you test ride soo many different bikes they all start to feel alot alike. The honda was my 2nd choice, but the d675 stands out from the crowd. the powerband alone on the triumph sold me... next comes the refined appearance, the headturning sound, the cornering

its no wonder that this bike has won so many awards and yet tot his day remains virtually unchanged!
