@coke2nsw Haven't any clue as to what a "king size" would cost, never seen one, but I can't imagine it'd be more than $10. And if it doesn't stay lit I'd venture to say it's packed too tight. Is it hard to draw from?
@coke2nsw When you inhale with a cigarette in your mouth, your ability to inhale is the "draw." In other words, if the material is really packed in there, you really can't "draw" a lungful of smoke. So I'm thinking that if the flame keeps going out, it might be because the tobacco can't get enough oxygen in there to keep the fire going.
@coke2nsw Nah, turning the roller should have no effect on tightness, it's the amount of material you use. If the flame goes out, try adding less and less to your cigs until it stays lit. Fire needs heat, oxygen and flammable. You've got heat, you've got flammable material so if it's not staying lit, it's a lack of oxygen and that's caused my too much material not letting the oxygen get to where the heat and flammable material is.
@bodhisoma yea thats exatcly how that works. And i dont fill it up completely like you do in your video. That might be why. Any ideas how to get the mylar working right though?
@graffartforever I'm stumped, unfortunately. I still don't get how the tobacco could pop out between the two rollers without the lock coming undone since there's no space with the lock engaged. Have you tried making sure there is absolutely no tobacco material between the rollers before you start the rolling process?
@bodismo2:20 the material i roll with my pointer finger doesnt go down through the crack and my thumb pulls the material out and it ends up popping everything i have out.
@graffartforever Ah, OK, I think I get it... So when you push up with your pointer fingers, the mylar just goes up instead of inside the cigarette-shaped space? And the pulling down with the thumbs just causes the cigarette-shaped space to get smaller and smaller until the material ejects? If that's correct then I think I understand the situation but I still can't see how the material could eject without the roller unlocking. Hm.
@graffartforever Any way you can beg/borrow/steal a cellphone or something to do a vid? Are you 100% certain there are no bits sticking out from between the rollers before you start rotating the two rollers? Does this happen if you put less material in? How about more?

@graffartforever I don't know if you figured it out already or not. But the reason the mylar keeps popping out when you roll is because you may have it overpacked. I tried using a little less tobacco & it stopped doing it for me.

@userFromChip Correct, no filter. I don't discourage using one, I just didn't personally. And yes, you can insert the filter in with the tobacco prior to rolling, should work no problem.

The way pot and skunk is stored to preserve it can be pretty nasty too. chemical fumes and the like.

Ive rolled my own for years, and Ive always heard about these but never really looked.
My God that would make my Monday nights soo much faster!(I roll about 20 every Monday evening)

@graffartforever I can see it happening when it's empty because the plug of tobacco needs to be in there to prevent the loop from just pulling out. If you're insanely desperate to get it figured out and want to cover postage both ways you could mail it to me, I'd figure it out and send it back with instructions. =)

The papers I use are to big for my roller, my roller has 70mm on it; Also it turns of on my when it gets small. What do you suggest?

@coke2nsw Only solution there is to either fold or cut the oversized papers. Not sure what you mean by "it turns of on when it gets small." Can you rephrase?

@bodhisoma What if I buy a king size roller, how much is that one cost. When its burning and the cigarette get small the flame turns off I don't know if its because I don't have an even burn or what.

@coke2nsw Haven't any clue as to what a "king size" would cost, never seen one, but I can't imagine it'd be more than $10. And if it doesn't stay lit I'd venture to say it's packed too tight. Is it hard to draw from?

@coke2nsw When you inhale with a cigarette in your mouth, your ability to inhale is the "draw." In other words, if the material is really packed in there, you really can't "draw" a lungful of smoke. So I'm thinking that if the flame keeps going out, it might be because the tobacco can't get enough oxygen in there to keep the fire going.

@coke2nsw Nah, turning the roller should have no effect on tightness, it's the amount of material you use. If the flame goes out, try adding less and less to your cigs until it stays lit. Fire needs heat, oxygen and flammable. You've got heat, you've got flammable material so if it's not staying lit, it's a lack of oxygen and that's caused my too much material not letting the oxygen get to where the heat and flammable material is.

@graffartforever I'm stumped, unfortunately. I still don't get how the tobacco could pop out between the two rollers without the lock coming undone since there's no space with the lock engaged. Have you tried making sure there is absolutely no tobacco material between the rollers before you start the rolling process?

@bodismo 2:20 the material i roll with my pointer finger doesnt go down through the crack and my thumb pulls the material out and it ends up popping everything i have out.

@graffartforever Ah, OK, I think I get it... So when you push up with your pointer fingers, the mylar just goes up instead of inside the cigarette-shaped space? And the pulling down with the thumbs just causes the cigarette-shaped space to get smaller and smaller until the material ejects? If that's correct then I think I understand the situation but I still can't see how the material could eject without the roller unlocking. Hm.

@graffartforever Any way you can beg/borrow/steal a cellphone or something to do a vid? Are you 100% certain there are no bits sticking out from between the rollers before you start rotating the two rollers? Does this happen if you put less material in? How about more?

@graffartforever I don't know if you figured it out already or not. But the reason the mylar keeps popping out when you roll is because you may have it overpacked. I tried using a little less tobacco & it stopped doing it for me.

@bodhisoma Maybe. My camera is MIA right now. But like you know how you pack it then lock it then roll? well when i lock it and roll, it doesn't roll right and it pops the material, along with all the wee...tobacco out the top.

@graffartforever Hm... Once it's locked the two rollers should be practically touching so I can't imagine how the tobacco could get out. Does the device become unlocked in the process of rolling?

@userFromChip Correct, no filter. I don't discourage using one, I just didn't personally. And yes, you can insert the filter in with the tobacco prior to rolling, should work no problem.

The way pot and skunk is stored to preserve it can be pretty nasty too. chemical fumes and the like.
